Normal POV~

"What's the surprise, what's the surprise?!" They chanted, currently blindfolded as they were taken into a room. Atem was currently carrying Yami, knowing that Yami was hurting right now. He smiled fondly while he looked at the now bigger baby bump on Yami's stomach. The baby was growing big and he was predicting he could be a 'Dark'. As soon as they entered the room, they took off their blindfolds and Atem sat Yami down.

"We found out a way for you three to become immortal. We tried it on Téa, it worked. I won't lie, it will hurt just a bit." Akefia said, pointing with his thumb behind him to show Téa squealing with excitement. Malik and Bakura brightened up, jumping up and down. Yami, however, was nervous.

"I don't know, Até... What if it harms the baby?" Yami hesitantly asked, holding his stomach.

"The spell said that this won't harm-"

"Wait, no. He's right, we can't risk it." Atem stated, marking and closing his spellbook.

"I'm not trying to say let's risk it and possibly harm the baby, but maybe we should try it. The book says it won't harm anyone bearing a child. And who knows if the child will come out immortal or you know, have a life span like Yami currently has, so we should get it over with."

"No, I won't risk the life of my child. How can we trust a spellbook?" Yami questioned, looking at the spellbook that was glistening.

"Nothing'll happen, we promise. We'll begin with Bakura and Malik." Marik said, bringing the youngest of the group to him. Malik and Bakura, still radiating with happiness, nodded. Yami began to watch curiously at how his friends became these immortal beings.

"Até, I don't want to do this..." Yami whimpered, gently hugging his boyfriend.

"You don't have to, I won't make you-"

"Yet, at the same time... I want to live forever with you guys. And... I want to get it over with..."

"But, Yami... Do we really want to risk it? I surely don't want to..."

"Me neither, but I'd rather feel the pain right now instead of later. And If there is a slight chance the kid will come out immortal if I become one right now, I would rather have to feel that pain myself." Yami said, sitting down on a chair, his leg cramps beginning. It began to hurt every now and then when he stood up. Pain surrounded him everywhere at random points of the day. You might think he was exaggerating, but just imagine carrying an almost fully grown baby in your stomach.

"Yami..."

"If this does harm the baby, I will never forgive myself. So don't blame yourself if something does happen." Yami murmured, grabbing the spellbook and opening to the marked page.

"Positive?" Yami nodded. Hesitating, Atem placed a hand on Yami's swollen chest, being gentle with the pressing. He began to chant the words, trying to not mess up badly and accidentally say the wrong words. Who knows what will happen if he did? Yami let out a whimper and Atem immediately opened his eyes.

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Yami smiled, the former Pharaoh let out a sigh of relief and smiled. He leaned down and kissed the pale man.

Now, they were going to be together for eternity...

"I don't follow."

"It's used so the baby doesn't get his shirt dirty, it's called a bib." While Atem was getting a baby clothing lesson from Téa, Yami was searching the shoe aisle with his other friends. He wanted the best for his little boy, no matter what it would cost him.

"This is a pretty color," Yami whispered, gently touching his belly. It was growing bigger, and since he had a small body... it was a bit tiring walking around anywhere.

"So, are you going to spoil the kid?" Malik asked, setting down a green shoe.

"I'm not sure, I know teenagers could be a handful, I surely know it will be a stage..."

"Hmm, yeah, I was sort of a handful as a child," Marik said, his mouth filled with an apple.

"He whined because he couldn't play with a rock."

"Hey! Mr. Rocky was my best friend before you two!"

"Mr. Rocky?!"

"Yes! Mr. Rocky! I was bad with names!"

"Pardon, young men. But may you turn down the volume? You're screaming and it's disturbing some people." A person, most likely an employer, told them. Marik glared.

"I don't give a fu-"

"Sorry to ask, but what kind of shoes are these?" Yami asked quickly, stopping Marik from cursing in front of a few children.

"Oh, foam. They would keep the baby's feet comfy. I can guarantee that." Yami smiled and thanked him.

"Hey, look at this. It's so cute." Téa cooed, showing the small shirt and pants to Yami. The pale man grinned.

"I like it," Yami praised, patting it lightly to smooth it out. While he did that, the small shoes he was holding fell on the floor. Atem let go of some pants to pick the shoes up for Yami, but another man beat him to it. Something seemed familiar about that man. As he watched the man pick it up for his beloved, watch his beloved say a confused thank you, he slightly glared at the man.

The man had brown hair, black eyes, pale skin.
