"Feeling of jealousy"

Jungkook and Jimin had nursed their best friend back to health the entirety of their first week at the camp and currently they were sitting on a small grass patch by the large lake.

Yoongi really yearned to just dive in and feel the water, having it rush past his milky skin... but alas he couldn't, at least not during the day... and he was too prideful to admit it, but he was too scared to try and do it during night hours again.

"The water looks amazing, won't you go in with me?" Jungkook begged the smallest, his hands coming around to grip the other's waist pleadingly.

Yoongi had to forcefully restrain himself and his mouth to not just say fuck it and jump in– he shook his head tiredly, sighing heavily.

"No, I shouldn't... not when I've been sick" the tiny male explained, with somewhat of a lie and the bigger pouted adorably.

"Okay, I'll keep you company on land then" he commented, still keeping his arms around Yoongi's skinny waist.

—Jimin on the other hand was busy thinking about something else. His mind would usually be preoccupied with a certain girl, but ever since that encounter with Kim Taehyung and said person's best friend... that redhead kept on popping up into his head every now and again.

"-Jiminie?" The peachy male got snapped out of his own thoughts and he looked up to see his best friend, studying him.

"What were you thinking so hard about?" Yoongi asked curiously and he shrugged, dismissing the question quickly.

"Nothing..."

Taehyung was mad.

He literally couldn't concentrate on anything at the moment. His mind was also heavily preoccupied with something at all times and the fact that he wasn't capable to go about a normal day because of it made him more than just irritated.

His beta and best friend– Hoseok had obviously noticed this. The redhead coughed to get the other's attention, which he got with a small growl.

"What?" The taller hissed in annoyance and Hobi sighed at his best friend's behaviour.

"You need to sort out whatever problem it is you're having, because its not beneficial for anyone" the beta explained and Tae rolled his eyes at the other's words, even though he was well aware that it was all true.

"How can I when my mate is so fucking irritating!" Taehyung burst out, letting the sentence leave his mouth before he had the time to think it through.

"What mate?" Hoseok questioned with his eyebrows high and the taller started to chuckle nervously.

"Mate? I didn't say that, I was speaking about fate" Taehyung tried to lie, but his best friend's expression changed into being very unimpressed one.

"Fate, really? Then please alpha explain how fate is spelled with a m" Hobi said unamused, just before a small smirk draped down on his lips... and that's when the taller knew he was gonna have to explain, everything.

"Tell me, NOW" the redhead demanded and the other male held up his hands in surrender.

"Okay okay, god dammit..." Tae muttered before he flopped down onto his back once again, onto the lush grass.

"I've met my mate... I actually did it a few weeks ago" the taller explained with a heavy breath and Hoseok's eyes grew inhumanly wide.

"AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" He yelled out loudly, not caring if anyone heard... which a lot of students did.

"Shh- yes, I'm sorry... but I've kind of just been ignoring our bond, because..." Taehyung started, but doesn't dare to finish his sentence. He knew his best friend very well and said person would give him yet another long lecture about anything from life to love, along with everything in between.

"Why?" Hobi asked the inevitable and the taller sucked in a fast breath, before apologetically glancing to his friend.

"I know you'll be mad... but please hear me out first"

A small nod was all which the other gave, waiting for him to continue.

"My mate... its-my mate is... a guy and I know that it shouldn't matter and that our bond will no matter what still be inseparable, but the thing is... I don't feel the true spark, its almost like its dull" Tae tried to describe it and Hoseok shook his head, somewhat disapprovingly.

"You've still known about this guy for over a week, you should've tried to create a stronger bond even if it isn't naturally there" the redhead stated as if it was the obvious thing to do and the other started flailing his hands in the air, in pure distress.

"No no, you don't understand... I've been next to him for all this time, I just-I... he's with someone else and I don't feel what I should for him" the taller exclaimed and Hobi quirked a brow at him.

"Now I'm actually intrigued about whom it might be... but nonetheless you do have some sort of feelings for this person, because you've evidently been thinking about him a whole lot" Hoseok commented and Tae felt his neck heat up ever so slightly.

"N-no I haven't"

"Who is it though? I've got to know" the shorter asked and Taehyung scratched the nape of his neck awkwardly.

"Min" the embarrassed male whispered out, almost inaudibly and Hobi slapped the other's head impatiently.

"Louder!" He yelled out for good measure and the taller hushed him, while glancing around at the other people in their surroundings.

"Its Min Yoon-Yoongi" Taehyung mustered to squeak out, feeling as if his alpha genes had completely left his body and flown away– Hoseok shot up happily as his face went into shock mode.

The redhead clapped his hands giddily, to which the taller rolled his eyes. "He's tiny and cute, while you're big and rather intimidating~ its a perfect match" the beta mused and Tae punched the other's shoulder.

"Don't say that dummy"

"Oh what? You know its true- now about this connection... what seems to be the biggest problem?" Hoseok interrupted himself while speaking and Tae let his head hang from his shoulders tiredly.

"I just don't feel a great spark like everyone has described it to be... its just a small feeling of jealousy"
