T W E N T Y T W O - Touch

Yoongi was anticipating it... Taehyung's large hand on himself, caressing him - the thought was for some reason morphing into that of a rather sexual indication.

Stop it, he's just curious

The werewolf hastily sat down on his knees, just beside the smaller and tried to keep back a painfully large child like smile from spreading across his face even further... his mate would surely think he was a psychopath if he kept on acting as he did.

"Just say stop if you're uncomfortable alright?" the blue haired male chimed gleefully as he finally let his index finger touch the smooth tail. It was almost like a fish - yet so much more touchable... maybe because it was his mate, but still - it was inviting in a way.

"How fast can you swim with this?" the werewolf asked in amazement, to which the other giggled quietly. "Well, I haven't really calculated my speed, but think of a dolphin or seal kind off" the smaller explained and he earned an understanding nod in return.

"That's so cool, you'll have to show me at some point" Tae mused as he sat back on his legs, just studying the silky scales with his now glowing eyes.

"Your eyes... do you control them or do they just shift whenever?" the small merman asked, intruigued by the shining orbs and the taller coughed awkwardly - trying to hide his face, although it didn't work.

"Normally I can... recently they've gone haywire though" Taehyung mumbled, knowing very well that the very reason for that was the person sitting in front of him.

"Huh... well, anyway... could you get me a towel? I'd like to change back" the smaller almost whispered out, while Hoseok and the now awake Jimin looked to each other - then to the two males before them... who quite obviously shared chemistry...

Couldn't they just get together?

"Ahem... Taehyung can I speak to you for a sec?" the beta asked the rather dense alpha, who hastily complied while catching up to the other, who had already gotten to the door.

Once outside - Hoseok smacked the taller's head with a small glare set on his face.

"You should tell him... or he'll fucking end up with someone else... although Jimin is the cutest being to exist - I am more than aware of the fact that Yoongi is quite adorable himself and could easily be snatched by anyone..." the redhead began explaining and before the other had even started drawing a breath to speak, he opened his mouth once again.

"We've both seen how he and Jungkook act together... with Jiminie it's understandable, but that is in an entirely different league my dude, you need to get your shit together and soon, that is not only your beta talking - but your best friend" Hoseok finished, his hand resting on Tae's shoulder, that was visibly sloping...

The alpha knew that the other was right, how could he not?

He was aware of the fact that Yoongi knew of his status as werewolf... and was surprisingly okay with it... but how would the smaller ever react to their fated bond?

It felt as if Tae could spare his own ego by not putting the small, but important, bit of information out there... but at the same time he'd never know if they could become something...

Before either of the two werewolves could say anything else - they heard a small high pitched squeal from inside the room and they both rushed inside, only to find Jimin listening in on them from behind the door...

Oh no.

"Jiminie sweetie... what do you think you're doing?" the redhead questioned, with a mixed expression of pure awe and agitation at the same time.

"I-uh..." the shorter mumbled before he sprinted off towards the merman, who was still lying on the floor in a small pool of water...

"Yoongi, they spoke about you!!!" the bubblegum pink male exclaimed as he threw himself around the other short male with his arms hugging his best friend, who stared at him dumbfounded.

"What did they say?" the other small boy asked, basically acting as if the two taller males weren't there to begin with and the human giggled.

"They spoke about some kind of bond between-" before Jimin could finish his sentence, his mouth was covered with a large hand, successfully stopping him.

"Jiminie... it isn't nice to eavesdrop" Hoseok stated as he brought the other away from the merman, who was now very interested in this apparently important secret.

"Please tell me... Taetae?" Yoongi tried, unconsciously pouting which the tallest thought was adorable, yet deceiving... he wasn't ready to tell the other - but if he didn't it could be too late, it might've already been.

Jungkook was awfully touchy with his mate...

"Yoongi... there's something I need to confirm, you know that I am a werewolf" Taehyung stated and he received a confirming nod in return... while Jimin gasped in the background... that was news to him.

"What do you know about werewolf tradition?" the tallest asked curiously and the smaller hummed, while thinking of everything he'd learned throughout the years.

There was the pack mentality, as displayed by the giant mansion they were currently in, the range of different wolves, mates, cycles of the moon regarding strength and whatnot... was it something specific the other wanted to know or?

"I mean, I guess I know the basics, why'd you ask?" Yoongi questioned as he studied Tae's rather stiff body language.

"Well... then you know about mates" the alpha absentmindedly added, while Hoseok stared proudly at his best friend. Sure he'd urged him to do something, but he never thought the other would do something the very same night.

Maybe he was more influential than he thought.

"Yes" the merman once again agreed to... Taehyung seemingly out of nowhere took a hold of the smallest's hand, letting the sparks shoot freely... and that was a statement in itself.

Yoongi felt it, his eyes becoming a swirling pool of emotions - even as another species he knew what that tingling sensation meant.

"No..." he whispered out in pure disbelief, not believing his own sense of touch, before he himself took a hold of Jimin's hand, only to make sure it was only connected to Taehyung and no one else.

His mind was telling him the truth... Kim Taehyung was his mate.

"What is happening?"
