Chapter Forty-Four

As the night came to a drunken end, everyone filed out of the green venue. The boys decided to keep it classy and they went with an Ancient Greek theme for their decorations, you know back when everyone was gay and wrote about it and before it became a bad thing.

The grooms made their exit at ten as everyone crowded around their car that had, kindly, been decorated by Jin, Namjoon, Junghyun, and Hyunjin. Just a little note I feel I have to make, the back glass said, "Newly weds, please flip us off." It was Hyunjin's idea.

Since their flight didn't leave until the next morning, the newly weds made their way back to Taehyung's apartment because it was bigger than Jungkook's.

The two had decided that since they lived in a big city, and had already been to a tropical destination together, that they would go to a place a little different. So they booked a cabin in the Smokey Mountains in the U.S.

The mountain range was fairly short compared to the Rocky Mountains on the other side of the country, but they were well vegetated and kept a nice temperature range. It was pretty much always foggy there, hence the name.

"Hey babe?" Jungkook calls, looking through his suitecase one more time to make sure he has everything.

"Yeah?"

"You made sure to get your bandanas, right?"

"You act like I don't know that my bandanas are secretly your kink." Taehyung says, coming out of the bathroom with just a pair of basketball shorts on.

"They're not my kink." Jungkook says very unconvincingly.

"Whatever. Go get ready for bed." Taehyung says before stretching on purpose.

"Y-yeah. That's what I should do. Let me just grab my pajamas and I'll head to the bathroom. I wonder why they named pajamas, pajamas. Like, what's the meaning behind them-" Jungkook starts rambling as he scrambles to find his pajamas.

"Babe." Taehyung says, pulling a stiff Jungkook into a hug.

"Y-yes?"

"Calm down." Taehyung whispers in Jungkook's ear before kissing just behind his ear and wrapping his arms around his waist.

"Okay." Jungkook says, burying his face in Taehyung's neck and taking a deep breath.

"Now, yes, I got my bandanas and you need to get ready for bed. You've had a long day and you're gonna have another long day tomorrow. These next two weeks are all about us and relaxing before we get back to work." Taehyung says, swaying just a little before letting Jungkook go and slapping his butt.

"Hey! Can't you wait just one more day?"

"It gets harder and harder by the minute, babe."

"You're glad I heard that with context."

"Am I?" Taehyung asks, plopping down on the bed.

"Whatever." Jungkook says, walking off and rolling his eyes.

The flight was a long one. 16 hours and 50 minutes through Korean Air. That's a long ass flight.

"I'm tired." Jungkook whines, slouching as he pulls his luggage through the airport.

"I know babe. Our car is waiting for us in the parking lot close by the door. Just hold on a few minutes and then you can pass out in the car."

"But what about you? You can't drive if you're tired."

"Did you think I was gonna drive us back?"

"Yeah."

"Oh no, I hired a driver because I knew we'd be tired. Don't worry, he's just here to drive us to the cabin and back to the airport. I'll be driving us every where else we go." Taehyung says as the doors finally come into view.

They made their way to the car that had a man standing next to it with a sign that said "The Kims." Jungkook had never felt so important.

Both fell asleep once they were in the car, Taehyung leaning on Jungkook as he sits there with his head kicked back. It's surprising he wasn't snoring, honestly.

Waking them up was a little bit different story.

The driver tried yelling but it didn't work so, much to his dismay, he resorted to vigorously shaking Taehyung awake. Taehyung sat straight up and yelled something like, "That's my freaking fluffball, you get your own douchebag!"

Once fully conscious, Taehyung proceeded to awaken the younger who had just begun snoring.

The two made their way inside the cabin and decided to explore later. As previously seen, they were tired.

It's only a two week break and it's not like any of you are gonna read my next book because come on there's like three of you.
