The Letters

Netty's POV~

I saw something walking though the portal.

It was a dog, one of Stampys dogs duncan.Followed by mittens the cat. I was confused why where they coming through the portal.

" Squid, why are they here?" I asked

" I have no flipping idea " he replied

I ran over to Duncan and mittens. I found out they had a note each attached to them. One addressed to sqaishey and one addressed to me. my stomach tied up in knots that instant.

People began to gather around curious about what was happening. everyone went dead silent.

" Sqaishey...." I yelled out

Sqaishey stepped out from behind the crowd. she slowly walked over to me.

"What is it?" she asked "its from stampy... one for you one for me." I replied I began to shake.

"Follow me " I said to sqaishey.

" Netty what's going on? " squid asked worried. " I explain later " I said back to him .

I walked sqaishey inside my house and locked the door behind her. we sat on the couch.

" I'm scared " I said nervously

" Me too " she replied

" Ok we open them on three" I said " one, two, three!"

I opened my letter. it read ~

Dear Netty

I'm sorry for what I did to you and Tom. I can't believe I was so wrong. I didn't mean to do what I did I just wanted to protect you. I care about you more than anyone. I hope you forgive me. if you have found Tom in your world He is welcome to return with you. I hope you are safe. please tell squid and lee that I miss my best mates. Love from Mr.Stampy Cat x

I looked up from my paper. I was crying. I looked over at sqaishey, she was crying too! we leaned into a hug.

" What did he say? " I asked sobbing loudly

" He loves me and he's...s sorry..y " she said between cries. " What...t about..t yoursss...?"

" He said he's sorry..y and he...e misses meee." I sobbed

We laid In each others arms for another hour before we settled down. squid began banging on the door, being the leader he was worried about us. I walked to the door, wiping my eyes. I opened the door.

" Hi squid "

" Netty are you and Sqaishey ok? " he asked with a very worried look on his face.

" We're fine I have to go bye" I said as I shut the door.

" Sqaishey " I said " I'm going to write back"

" Are you sure that's a good idea? " she asked

" I'm going to" I said

I sat down with a piece of paper and wrote ~

Dear stampy

I forgive you. I have not yet found tom and until I do I will not be returning. I would appreciate it if your wrote a letter to squid himself. he is our new leader. I would also like it if you wrote a letter to everyone apologising. we will not return until this happens. sqaishey believe that you love her but she chose not to write a letter back herself. thankyou for apologising Stampy. from Netty x

I read the letter to sqaishey and she agreed it was good. I attached it to Duncan's collar and he walked back the the portal. sqaishey and I relaxed trying to get over what just happened.

We watched a movie and had fun
