A Short But Meaningful Chapter

Netty's POV ~

Was trying for another baby a good idea? I just didn't know? Would it happen again? Would I even get pregnant?

" Netty are you alright? " Tom asked as he shook my shoulder a little. I jumped slightly startled and sighed.

" Sorry, I'm just thinking.." I mumbled to myself.

" Netty what's wrong? " he asked as his arm swung around my shoulder " tell me, maybe I can help you "

" It's about kids Tom " I muttered " I want my own baby but I'm terrified what happened.....in the past.... might happen again "

" I won't happen again Netty, I promise you " he said " if you want kids we can try again "

" But how do you know! " I argued " if that happens again I'm never going to be able to live with myself "

" It won't happen Netty, stop telling yourself it will and focus on your future " he smiled " you want kids don't you? "

I nodded. I really did.

" Well than let's try okay, it won't happen I promise " Tom encouraged me.

" Are you sure? " I asked cautiously.

" Yeah I'm positive, " he smiled " it hurt me too Netty but we can move on from it "

" Okay " I smiled. Tom leaned in and kissed me. Tingles went shooting down my spine and my heart began to race. Was I ready for this? Really?

I guess I'll find out.

Salem's POV ~

Returned to Stampy's Lovely World was the best thing in the world. No more scavenging for food or just struggling to stay alive.

Natalia, Harry and Liam have grown up and are taller and smarter now. Netty and Tom continued to help them with there combat skills, and It really has helped them. Natalia can shoot better than me and she's 7 years old! She's almost as good as Netty.
