The Cage

Netty's POV ~

I opened my eyes to see myself sat in a cage. I looked around and saw that Tom, Lee, Squid and Rosie were also in the same cage.

" DAD!" I heard someone say.

I turned around to see there triplets sitting in a cage directly next to ours. Squid, Tom and I raced over to the edge of the cage and hugged them.

I was so happy to see there little faces.

" Well, Well, Well who do we have here? The Brothers, A Bear, A penguin and oh!" the voice said " The sister of stampylongnose!"

I looked up to see Hit the Target standing over the cage. He looked different since the last time I saw him. He was taller and his mask was different.

Lee stood up and walked towards the front of the cage.

" You won't get away with this Target!" he yelled " Not While Im Alive!"

Lee began to rage. he was shaking the bars trying to break out. I thought about how the only thing that was holding down the cages were large rocks and how lee was shaking them around quite easily.

I looked around the room. The walls were tall and painted crimson. the was a throne towards the back of the room against the wall that was covered in diamonds. I looked up and noticed a massive chandelier hanging just above where target was standing. I had a plan.

I waited until target was busy directing some skeletons until I explained to everyone.

" I have a plan!" I whispered " Tom and squid do you think you can lift the cage. there's only rocks holding in down?"

" Yeah I think so." Tom replied.

" Rosie and lee when Squid and Tom lift the cage run to the two doorways behind us and block them so Target can't escape."

" Okay " Rosie agreed as lee nodded.

I turned to Nat. " Nat when They lift the cage Im going to pass you your bow and I need you to shoot the chain holding up that big chandelier. " I asked " do you think you can hit it?"

" I'll try " she said.

" After you knock it down come with me with you bow but stay behind me. if target tries to attack you I need you to shoot him." I said

" But you said not to shoot people" he replied

" He's different, he dangerous." I whispered " If he attacks you, shoot, don't hold back!"

I turned back to squid and Tom.

" Once Nat shoots the chandelier down I want you two to follow him so he can't escape, ill shoot him straight away so he's hurt." I explained " ready everyone? " I whispered " one, two, three"

The boys lifted the cage and I slipped Nat her bow. Lee and Rosie sprinted to the doorways and Nat shot the chandelier chain.

The world suddenly went into slow motion. The chandelier fell slowly to the ground smashing to millions of pieces. Hit The Target fell to the ground in surprise. the world sped up again.

We all scrambled out of the cage and surrounded target. Natalia stayed behind me. Target jumped to his feet.

" You can't win!" he said.

Suddenly I saw Squid sprinting towards target with his diamond sword.

" THIS IS FOR TAKING MY KIDS!" he screamed.

" NO SQUID!" I yelled. this wasn't the plan.

They began batting. Squid was knocked to the ground. His leg was bleeding badly. Target when to run out a side door that I never noticed before.

I went to go after him but I knew squid was more important. that's when I heard Natalia yell.

" WAIT TARGET!" she yelled. I turned my head and looked. he stopped and turned around.

" What are you going to do little girl? tickle me to death?" he teased.

A tear ran down her cheek.

" YOU DO NOT HURT MY DAD!" she yelled.

She aimed and let an arrow fly. It went flying into his shoulder. Target fell to the ground in a heap. The little boys ran and jumped on top of him to stop him from getting away. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Lee and Rosie rushed over and held target down. I asked Rosie to take them outside because I didn't want them to see there father dying.

Once they went outside I rushed over to Tom and kneeled down to where squid was. He was in a bad way. he was lying in a puddle of blood.

Salem ran in crying with Amy. she knelt down next To him. she was begging to notch that he didn't die.

Suddenly she dropped to the ground face down. there was 3 arrows in her back.

She was dead.
