The Day We Leave

Netty's POV~

Today was the day. The day we were leaving. I was scared. scared of his reaction, scared of the new world.

It was almost four. I zipped up my bag and said goodbye to my house. I walk slowly with squid to the waterfall.

" I'm scared squid" I admitted " really scared" "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, not stampy, not the creepers, not anyone" he said putting his arm around my shoulders.

We stood there, all of us. my stomach was turning, we were outside Stampys room.

" STAMPY!" squid screamed.

" What is going on?!" he asked

" We are leaving your world stampy, together. " I said

" Netty seriously, you did this, just because of a stupid boyfriend you had!" he said

I felt angry, very angry!

" HE'S NOT STUPID, I LOVED HIM! " I screamed. I began to run towards the ladder to go hit him when I felt lee and squid holding me back. I heard lee say " he's not worth it Netty "

" Goodbye stampy " I said

I saw a tear roll down his cheek. he was upset, its what we needed.

" Lee, u too? " stampy asked

" Sorry stampy " he said

" Sqaishey?! Not u too please no!"

" I'm sorry stampy u did the wrong thing." sqaishey replied.

" I don't need you, I don't nee any of you! there's millions of kids who would live in my world. I don't need you!" he yelped

It sounded like he was upset, very upset but its what we needed to happen. we picked up our bags and walked up to the portal. I grabbed squids hand " I'm so scared!" I said to him " it's ok, you'll be fine, we will find tom. " he said .

I turned around and said goodbye to the place that was once my home, hoping I would get to return. I saw sqaishey crying just as much as I was.

I took a deep breathe and stepped through the portal.
