Netty And Natalia

Netty's POV ~

I want to teach Natalia how to shoot. I want to make sure she can defend herself from the monsters that lurk around.

I went to talk to Salem about it.

She was expecting me to come around for lunch for a chat because we hadn't talked much lately. I knocked on her door. She answered quickly.

" Hi Netty, come in. " she said. I walked inside. I could smell lunch cooking and I could here the kids laughing.

" NETTY!" Natalia yelled out as she ran out and grabbed me around legs. I looked down to see a small girl with black wavy hair and big blue eyes.

" Hi Natalia!" I said " how's my favourite little girl?"

" I'm good" she said.

" Natalia go play with your brothers." Salem said.

" Ok mum!" she said as she ran away.

" I cannot believe how big she is!" I said to Salem as we walked into the kitchen. " I know she turns 6 years old in a week!" she replied as she dished pasta into some bowls.

" I had something to ask you about that anyway." I explained " I hope you know that I'm pretty good with a bow now.."

" Pretty good? " she asked " you've gotta be kidding me Netty, I've seen you shoot, your the best in this entire world!"

" Yeah that doesn't matter, anyway I thought that if I made Natalia a small bow I could teach her, as a birthday present. " I explained " It will help her defend herself. And the boys won't miss out either, Tom said he'll teach the sword skills when they're slightly older."

I looked at Salem, she looked back at me " are you sure she won't get hurt?" She asked

" I promise " I replied

" Ok then, look after my little girl " she said

" I will, like she my own." I replied

She past me 2 bowls of pasta and I sat them on the table. she bought over the other bowls and sat them in front of the chairs.

" Harry, Liam, Natalia, Lunch is ready!" she yelled. The triplets came running down the stairs and sat down.

Harry looked exactly like squid. he was basically a mini version of his dad. Liam had squids eyes but Salem's dark hair.

" I can't believe how big you guys are now!" I said to the boys. " you both remind me of your dad."

" I want to be like dad, Brave And courageous!" Liam said holding his hand up like he was holding a sword in the air.

" I'm sure you will be!" I said.

" Eat your lunch," she said to Liam " how's things with you and Tom?"

" Great actually, the breakup made us stronger." I said " I'm just a sitting duck now.." I said

" What do you mean?" she asked

" Well, Lee told me he's thinking of proposing but now all I can do is sit and wait" I explained.

" Oh, we'll there not much I can say about that, but it must be exciting for you!" she said taking a bite of her pasta.

" It is but I'm just waiting!" I laughed

" It will happen eventually I guess"

" Yeah I guess so," she said " were you at stampy and sqaishey's wedding?"

" Yes! it was beautiful!" I squealed. " I was a bridesmaid too!"

" I couldn't go because Harry was sick but squid told me it was good." she explained

" It was good" I said " i enjoyed it"

We continued chatting for a little while and then eventually I had to leave.

I wanted to make a special bow for Natalia's birthday that I could teach we with, the hard part was that I didn't know how. I thought that I would ask lee to show me how. he made mine so I thought he might help me make one for her. I headed over to his house.

I knocked on the door. Livy answered.

" Hi Livy. Is Lee here?" I asked

" Yeah I'll get him for you " she said. she walked away into another room.

Soon lee walked to the doorway.

" Hey Netty, what's up" he asked.

" Hey lee, you know how you made me my awesome bow? " I asked

" Yeah.." he replied

" Yeah, we'll could you help me make a bow for Salem's daughter. her birthdays in a week and I'd like to teach her to shoot. " I explained.

" So she can defend herself."

" Sure, I help you tomorrow, meet me at the weapon shop at 2 o'clock. " he replied

" Ok see you then. " I said.
