The Bad Kiss

Netty's POV ~ when I woke up this morning I decided that I better explain what happened to everyone, especially squid.

I got up and got dressed. I grabbed my bow ( I now never went anywhere without it ) and walked down to squids house. it was only a short walk down the road from mine. I walked past Amy's pink heart shaped house, finball's mini castle house ( creative much!) , and Rosie's purple and red house. then I reached squids blue coloured house. his house was the biggest and grandest of all of them. I knocked on the door. I heard a giggle then steps coming towards the door. he answered, barely dressed, just like he did they day Tom left.

" Oh hi Netty..." he said

" I was coming to ask if you wanted to come to the shooting range, I was gonna explain what happened yesterday to you" I explained

I peered over his shoulder and saw Salem standing there.

Great.........

" Your obviously busy so I'll go..." I said turning away.

" Netty wait!" he said " meet me there in 30 minutes!"

" Okay " I replied as I walked away"

I went and got some breakfast and walked to the shooting range. Squid was already there. I crouched behind a bush so he couldn't see me. I watched him shoot. He pulled back the string. close to his face. aimed slightly above his target, took a deep breathe and released.

Bullseye.

Squid, Why Squid!

" It was you, wasn't it!" I said as I came out from behind the bushes.

" Oh my god, Netty hi....." he said nervously

" It was you squid, you taught me to shoot, you help me kill my first creeper. You SAID YOU LOVED ME WHY!" I began to yell, I was angry, not because he loved me, because he was toms brother. I ran towards him " WHY!! why did it have to be you! WHY!" I screamed

"Netty , Calm down..." he said

" NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN" I grabbed my bow and shot a cow 20 metres away, followed by a chicken and another cow.

" Netty, where did you learn to shoot like that!" he asked

"FROM YOU! YOU LYING SON OF A -- " I got more angry. I ran towards him and pointed the tip of my arrow at his face " WHY! why you, why of all people you!" I said tearing up.

"Netty, I'm sorry"

" THERE'S NO POINT SQUID, YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME AND I CAN'T LOVE YOU BACK!"

" Why can't you?" he asked

" BECAUSE of Tom "

" And?..."

" I don't know I just can't it the reason we are here squid. I just can't "

" Then don't love me." he said calmly

" What? "

" Let me love you"

He proceeded to kiss me on the lips. I pulled away. " what about Salem?"

" Give me 5 minutes to treat you the way Tom did.." he begged " please Netty "

I nodded and he kissed me again. It felt good I don't know why it just did. when we finished ( about 5 minutes later ) I was happy. I never felt so happy since Tom and i's first kissed.

"We have to go." I said " this never happened, EVER! Deal."

" Deal " he said

We slowly walked back to town but I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. we turn around the corner, almost at town now. that when I saw him
