Part 13 - The Anti-War

"Where are we going, how many more?" 

"Just three more, one... two... and we're done!" Barny lifted up his hoodie and Eppy flew out and around the landing "woahh what is this place?"

"Urm, my house..." Eppy stopped dead, still in the air

"Oh yeah, oh right, of course." Barny held out his hand for Eppy to land on

"And no flying indoors!" Barny paused "wait... the tea party..." Eppy looked confused

"What about the tea party?"

"You all disappeared, how come you're back? Rex said you were in his cells."

"Rex... Oh you mean Hughbert, he's our king, he helps to hide us from the Warmen when we need the shadows."

"But he said he trapped you? And I had ten days to save you..." Eppy nodded

"Didn't E tell you, there's alwaysa  solution, we just told him that you can't be too carefuls, he must have thought you were a parallel..." Eppy looked down, at least, Barny thought it was Eppy.

"Wait a second... You're a parallel aren't you...?" Eppy gulped

"Of course not... now I must tell you how the warmen will attack, they're going to start an anti-war, they will trash all your electrical devices and ways of communicating, you will feel alone, a genius plan really..  I mean, it's terrible. Now let's stop them from sending us anymore viruses and unplug your laptop." Eppy reached out to unplug the charger from the socket and Barny grabbed her wing and through her to the ground "look, I know you're not Eppy and you do too, you're Effy, and you're not even female, you came here to start the anti-war and I suggest you go back to the Shadow Garden. Effy stumbled onto his feet and backed out onto the landing. Barny stopped him "wait a second, that bad sutff you said about my friends and Maisy... It's not true, so... that means that Maisy is not a parallel.. She is in fact, from the Willow Garden..."
