Although it didn't seem correct to say so, Barny had almost enjoyed planning for Daisy's tea party, picking out decorations in her favourite colours and selecting ALL the different types of tea. It felt like she was there again, thinking about her so much. The tablecloths they'd finally chosen were yellow with white spots, they were going to lay them out in the garden like picnic rugs and that's where people could mingle and drink their tea with others.
Everyone processed back to Barny's house, Barny escorted some of the younger children to their quarter of the grass and sat with them. It was right next to the gate, Barny got a knot in his stomach. He turned around and saw his Mum beckoning him towards her, he went "Stay there kids." He said to the infants, and he walked up to the patio. "Barny! Quickly!" He sped up
"What?! Those children are getting bored, and I don't know what to do witih them??" His Mum nodded
"Yes that's why I wanted you, when I was in Spain-" Barny though 'ah, that's where she was...' "I got you a few things that I thought you could show the kids, they're things I thought you could put on your shelf." She produced a little colourful scaled lizard "this model was designed by an architect called Gaudi, who designed a lot of buildings in Barcelona," she placed the lizard in his hands. "And this..." She pulled out a small figure of a golden eagle, Barny recognised it, but he couldn't put his finger on it. "I saw this and I thought of you, I don't know why but I had to buy it, it's quite precious, be careful with it." Barny took the eagle and the lizard and walked down the garden, his eyes glued to the eagle, he put the lizard down next to the children and kept his focus on the eagle, when suddenly, it disappeared into thin air, the kids all gasped "what?" Exclaimed one five year old girl named May-Belle "was that..." Barny got up and flung the gate open, he ran into The Willow Garden leaving the gate open behind him, "E! Eppy!? What just happened?!" Eppy flew over and landed on Barny's shoulder "We fear that something may have interrupted the power of the talisman, if it's not sorted in time, the garden will move somewhere else, to get away from whatever was interrupting the talisman." Barny thought for a moment
"So... Is that how the garden appeared here?" Eppy tapped him on the head
"Gee your a smart cookie!" Suddenly Eppy disappeared into thin air, just as the model of the eagle had "Eppy? Are you still there? Can you hear me?" Just as she disappeared, the model reappeared in his hands, he turned around to start walking back to the party, and there was a small child in front of him, the same girl who'd enquired about the model disappearing. "Oh gosh, oh sorry... Little girl." She looked at him "my name's Franny, what is this place?" Barny looked at her
"Look Franny, you really shouldn't be in here, if we stay too long, we might disappear, just like this eagle did, so you'd better leave soon." A tree disappeared in front of him "this is bad. Go! Run!" They both ran out of the garden, it was close, as if a monster was racing behind them eating everything in it's path. Then Barny thought, monster, E! He had to go and save him, he ran back to the cave, by that time, almost everything had disappeared "E!E! Can you hear me, E!?" Everything that was left was vanishing quicker now, when it happened, Barny vanished too.
