"Maisy!?" "Maisy!?" Barny's torchlight darted from tree to tree. "She said she would be here, at this clearing." A shadow passed over a tree, Barny shone his torch over. "There she is, Maisy!" Maisy smiled "Hi Barny!" Daisy's eyes widened

"Oh my..."

"Told you you were similar." Daisy looked at Barny's smug face

"Similar? We're living in the same body... Well, hypothetically." Barny's eyes flicked between the two girls "Maisy's hair is lighter." They laughed. "Hey, we can fool people!" Maisy suddenly went very serious.

"That gives me an idea. Since I belong to the Willow garden... I'm practically immortal, Rex would have a challenge on his hands if he wanted to kill me. So when the time comes I'll hand myself into Rex pretending to be Daisy, he won't be able to kill me, and Daisy will be free!"

"Yeah, but you'll be trapped, for the rest of your life. And you barely know Daisy, how could you pretend to be her." Daisy nodded.

"I know. Since Rex doesn't know me that well either, Maisy only has to know the basic facts. I can teach you that today." Barny scowled at Daisy

"You're happy to go along with this?" Daisy held Barny's hand.

"It's the only way, come on. Barny we could go back to yours and I'll teach Maisy a thing or two about myself." Suddenly there was a rustling in the trees and all sorts of strange creatures swung down from the branches, landing all around Barny, Maisy and Daisy. Daisy screamed as one bit her head and took out a chunk of her hair. "What are they!?" Barny quickly whipped out his gun and reloaded it with Red Bull. He started shooting it in all directions. Any creatures that were off the ground fell and started wobbling around drunkenly. "You've intoxicated them with energy juice. Ha!" Daisy stole the gun off Barny and shot one up in the trees. "What's the time?"

"Urm..." Barny checked his watch. "Three, we have four hours."

"Jeez, you think we'll make it?" Barny shook his head.

"Not a chance, you'll just have to lay down the facts now." They all turned around, stunned to find Rex standing behind them. "I agree with Barnaby, why don't I just take the girl now." It was astounding how he didn't even notice the likeness, he just grabbed Maisy. Daisy looked panicked, suddenly the plan didn't seem such a good one. Maisy, on the contrary, looked quite calm. She nodded slowly and said quietly. "It's alright, you two are meant to be friends." Maisy wasn't reluctant to Rex's hold as they walked off down a pathway. "I can't help feeling terrible, like this is my fault."

"She volunteered to go Daisy, you should be pleased." Daisy forced a smile.

"I  know."
