"And I realized it right. You are my last love."
-Min Keira
"Keiko! I have to go. You better get up now you lazyhead! It's almost eight in the morning. You're late for your first class!"
I shouted as i gather my stuff. Nothing new! This has been my daily routine for who knows how long. My twin brother always wakes up late so I end up waking him up, cooking breakfast for him and packing his lunch which he brings to school. I swear he's a lazy head. If he weren't only my brother, I could've kicked his ass out of this house already.
"Hey! Wait for me. Let me drop you off to school. I don't have morning classes today, remember? You know, adjustment period. First day of class."
Unlike me, Keiko is one hell of a studious kiddo. So whenever he seems restless and sleeps off most of his free time, I understand. Though he's annoying most of the time, I know he's dealing with his academic performance greatly. He is even taking up advance summer lessons.
"Nah. You don't have to. Rest yourself. I'm walking with Yohan anyways so there is no need to worry." I said.
"Oh, is that so? Well, good. I'm just worried you might do some stupid stuffs along the way. Glad he'll walk with you. At least I know you won't be dealing with your stupidity alone." I rolled my eyes at him. Keiko surely has a big mouth and I sometimes want to beat him up for this. How sweet can he be, right?!
"Shut up, brat. You don't have to worry about me. I'm not as stupid as you." I retaliated.
He just laughed at me. Maybe he shows it in the most cruel way ever, but I know that Keiko really cares. He might look like he's the most careless person in the world but I know deep inside him, he has a good heart. He's my brother nonetheless.
"Go on, Kei. You'll be late if you don't leave by now. Take care!"
"Yes, I will. You too, Keiko. And don't cause troubles, please! Your breakfast is on the table. Bye."
"Okay, thanks!" Keiko said before he went to the kitchen. I hurriedly went out knowing that Yohan is already waiting for me outside and as I closed the gate, I was right. He was outside, standing and waiting for me.
"Yohannie!" I called him. He slowly laid his look on my direction, smiling brightly the sun could come down. As usual.
I live for that smile.
"Kei! Why are you carrying such a huge bag on the first day of school? It looks even heavier than you! No wonder why you won't even grow an inch. Let me carry that." He said as he wore my bag pack on his back since he wasn't carrying any stuff for himself at all!
"Hey! What are you talking about? I'm about 5'3 by now. I grew an inch!" I exclaimed. Yohan is taller than me of course! My height can only reach his shoulder.
"And that made you proud, huh? You don't even seem to grow any taller since then!" Yohan shouted and laughed out loud. He hasn't changed a bit! He still makes fun of me and he still has that big mouth that never runs out of words to say.
"Don't ever talk to me if I ever grow taller!"
"Hmm, really? Then I wish you'll never grow taller. So I can still talk to you." I felt a sudden skip beat in my heart. I know he doesn't mean anything other than what he said but here comes my heart again, getting giddy and such. I hate it.
