"There are words that only the heart can understand. Not one’s mouth, not one’s mind but only that someone’s heart.“

It’s been a week since the accident happened. Although the operation has been successful, Keira hasn’t woke up yet and no one knows when she will ever be conscious again. But I promise, I will never leave her side.

I’m at the hospital right now and a step away from entering Keira’s room. I knocked and Keiko opened the door for me.

“Yohan, thank you so much for always visiting Keira. And for helping us out for the expenses and blood donations. Tell the other PDX members that I’m very grateful for them, okay?”

“No problem, Keiko. We wanted to help Keira anyways.” I said as I smiled.

I took a look at Keira and I can’t help but to feel sad. A lot of machines are intact to her and she’s still intubated. Also, her hands has a lot of hematomas due to numerous punctures. Not to mention the bruises and injuries she got from the accident.

“I’m just so happy that Keira survived that one. Please, never ever give her up. She’s a fighter and she’s fighting everyday.” I told Keiko.

“You don’t have to worry about it, Yohan. We will never give her up, okay? We’ll fight with her.”

I held Keira’s hand. She used to hold my hand tightly but now, she’s not even moving even a bit. I miss her so much. Please, Keira wake up already.

“Keira, you’ve been sleeping too much already. Please, wake up now. We miss you so much.”

I told her while still holding her hand. Well, if only I can give her my strength, I will.

“We still have a lot to do. You still have a lot of dreams. Plus, we are about to spend our lifetime together right? So please, wake up.”

I tightened my grip in her hands. She used to give me strength but now she’s the weak one.

“Yohan, you really love her, huh? Why did you just realized it by now and why didn’t you tell me? I could have protected the both of you from Hyewon.” Keiko said inquisitively.

“How’s Hyewon anyways?”

“I haven’t heard from her since that day. But her mom told me that they had punished her accordingly.”

I’m still mad at Hyewon. If she didn’t made those stories up, Keira wouldn’t have went away that time and she will not be involved in the accident. What she did caused a domino effect which affected us greatly.

“Keiko?”

We both looked at the door when we heard mom went inside and called for Keiko. She smiled at me the moment she saw me beside Keira. Her smile reminded me of Keira’s. Oh, how I miss her so much.

“Oh, Yohan. You’re here. Thank you for visiting Keira.”

“No worries, mom. It’s a pleasure. I hope Keira recovers quickly.” I said as I heaved out a heavy sigh. The eyes of her mom changed in an instant.

“Speaking of recovery, Keiko. Your dad talked to me. He knew about Keira’s situation.”

Keiko’s eyes grew wider and he shooked his head immediately.

“There is no way we will be getting help from that man!” Keiko yelled.

“Son, we don’t have a choice. I know that your Dad did terrible things to us but this is not about that anymore. This is for your sister. This is for Keira.”
