The house is filled with soft giggles and hums of the birthday song, the birthday boy jumping up and down due to excitement. Jeongguk tries his best to keep an eye on him, his focus shifting between Storm and the pancakes on the stove. Taehyung didn't spend the night over, considering the fact that he, too, was busy packing all of his stuffs because he is finally moving in with the Jeons today.
"Storm, honey, can you please stay still? I don't want you ending up with a bruise or something. The food's almost ready, and Papa Tata will be here soon," Jeongguk says with concern. Storm glances at his father before nodding and properly sitting on his chair. Jeongguk sighs in relief and goes back to flipping the pancakes.
"Daddy?"
"Yes, bub?"
"Do I get to have a baby as a gift for my birthday today?"
Jeongguk instantly chokes by the sudden question. He punches his chest just to grant himself air and when he looks at his son once more, the little boy had a bemused look on his face.
