Jeongguk and Taehyung made sure that the uneventful thing that happened was never to be talked about ever again. Taehyung was hesitant at first, a lot of questions running inside his mind and as much as he wants to bombard Jeongguk with a lot of it, not even a word comes out of his mouth; not to mention that Jeongguk's stoic expression the whole day was also what stopped him from snooping around.

Jeongguk, on the other hand, knows that Taehyung is dying of curiosity. He wants to erase all the older's worries away; he wants to assure him that it's nothing, that there's nothing to be worried and scared of, but Jeongguk was never good at lying so he thought it was best to just keep his mouth shut and act like nothing had happened; like he didn't just see the cousin of his ex-fiancé.

The rest of the day went by painfully slow, Taehyung refusing to talk to Jeongguk. Whenever Jeongguk asks him something, he just nods or shrugs, and it's making the younger frustrated. He knows how upset Taehyung must be, but his intentions are just to protect the two of them by not bringing up Storm's mother or anything related to her.

They went to bed that night with heavy hearts. Taehyung didn't join Jeongguk on their bed and slept on Storm's room instead. It suddenly made Jeongguk feel guilty, but he still doesn't budge, because he just wants what's best for his family.

However, when Jeongguk had made sure that the two are already fast asleep, he sneaks inside the room to plant soft kisses on their foreheads; his lips lingering a bit longer on Taehyung's. He also kisses the mole on the tip of his nose, murmuring a soft, 'I love you, I'm sorry' before leaving to go back to his and Taehyung's shared bedroom. He fails to see how Taehyung's eyes flutter open; how his lips tremble and form into a sad smile; how he says, 'I love you too, but I wish you could open up to me more.' No one heard it except for the moon who was looking down at him with pitiful eyes. He sighs to himself and pulls Storm closer before drifting back to sleep.

Morning comes and Taehyung was the first one to wake up and knowing that it was weekend, he lets Storm sleep in, as well as Jeongguk. He drags his body towards the bathroom, taking a quick and warm shower before deciding to make breakfast for the three of them. He was in the middle of toasting some bread when a pair of arms encircle around his waist. He sighs sadly, tapping Jeongguk's arm for the younger to let go as he was too engrossed on preparing their food, and aside from that, he's not really in the mood to talk.

"Tae, come on, let's talk," Jeongguk whispers close to his ears. Taehyung shivers at this but is still struggling to free himself from Jeongguk's hold.

"I'm making breakfast, Guk. We can talk later." Knowing that Taehyung will not give in, the younger takes a deep breath before releasing him. He leans his body on the kitchen counter, also busying himself by observing every move that Taehyung makes.

"Tae, baby... your silence is killing me," Jeongguk whines, earning himself a scoff from Taehyung. The latter puts the plates down the table before wiping his hands on the apron he was wearing. He takes it off, dropping it harshly on the ground.

"What is there to talk about, Jeongguk? Didn't you say that it's best to just forget everything and not talk about it? Why are you demanding me to talk right now?" Taehyung says, annoyed. He looks at Jeongguk straight in the eyes, his pupils blown wide in anger.

"You agreed, Tae!" Jeongguk tried defending himself.

"Because you wouln't have it any other way! Because no matter how many times I'd like for you to tell me everything, you wouldn't! It's fucking killing me on the inside because I'm supposed to be your boyfriend! You're supposed to tell me everything! Every little thing that bothers you, everything..." Taehyung breathes out in exasperation, the corner of his eyes now brimming with tears.
