"Papa? Milk... Papa, wake up. Storm wants milk," Taehyung stirs in his sleep when Storm continues to nudge his shoulders, not even planning to stop and cut Taehyung some slack. He groans, and checks the time on his phone.
"Storm... it's 2 in the morning. Please don't tell me you didn't get to sleep the moment I put you to bed last night," Taehyung says, his voice hoarse from being woken up. Storm pouts and sits down on the bed.
"I slept! But, I woke up because I thought it was already Sunday morning and that daddy would come to pick me up any minute from now!" He folds his arms against his chest and Taehyung is now enamored by the adorable sight in front of him (again).
"It is Sunday already, buddy, however, you're too early. Daddy won't come to pick you up 'til 9 am. It's 2:05."
Storm, upon realizing his mistake, pouts even more. He crawls on Taehyung's chest and sits comfortably on top.
"Oh... I'm sorry, papa..."
"Do you still want your milk, bud?"
"Yes," he whispers, and that was the cue Taehyung needed before he lifts the child up and pads his way towards the kitchen to make some milk for Storm.
Taehyung settles the kid on the sofa, and he sits beside him, watching the kid drink from his milk bottle. His eyes start to get droopy, but Storm pulls the hem of Taehyung's t-shirt to get his attention.
"What is it, buddy?"
"Do you want to see pictures of me and daddy when I was still a baby?"
"You brought pictures with you?"
"Uhuh! I always put photo albums inside my bag in case I miss daddy when he's away and I'm with the one who takes care of me!" The kid tells in excitement, struggling so hard to get off the sofa. Taehyung helps him, and he watches when Storm runs towards their shared bedroom and drags his bag outside. He was all giggly and cute, making Taehyung's heart flutter with so much gladness.
Storm flips the small photo album, page after page, and Taehyung couldn't find himself to stare away from the photos that holds a lot of precious memories and stories. He falls in love with the child in front of him, and maybe, just maybe, he also falls in love with the father.
