[Maggie's POV]

Three Weeks Later

"Maggie it's been a month since you both started talking about being together again if you really want to meet up with him call him and tell him you're in New York!" Sky pokes my side as we're sitting in the car driving to a restaurant somewhere to get some lunch.

On Valentine's Day, Shawn and I both established that we wanted to find time to get together somewhere because we needed to talk, rant and just be face-to-face with each other, but it's been hard.

He's dealing with his problems and stressful life and I'm doing the same. We started promo last week, we haven't slept that many hours, jet lag is a bitch, singing around, making appearances while jet-lagged and stressed is never easy and I have most of the high notes for some fucking reason so I have to be, basically, on voice rest.

We're in New York right now, did a couple of interviews this morning and now we just want to eat in peace and rest a bit because we're on schedule.

"I can't. I don't want to be a burden."

"You're not a burden, he likes you, everyone knows that. Plus, I get to meet him if you meet up with him." Dani jumps in excitement.

"Stop saying that. He doesn't like me, I'm horrible, he has the model chick to keep him company, plus I'm trying to forget about my feelings for him." I sigh as the car stops, meaning we've arrived.

Stephen, our manager, walks out first as well as Adam, who's accompanying Sky of course, but also serves as a bodyguard for when it's needed.

"Yeah good luck with that, especially when interviewers keep asking about those pictures of you two together. It's kind of funny to see your face when they go: So Maggie we've noticed some pictures were taken of you laughing and having a good time with the handsome pop sensation Shawn Mendes, can you tell us a little about that?"

The imitation is perfect, considering the obnoxious voice Sammy uses. It gets annoying when you're trying to avoid thinking about someone, so you can be the best version of yourself without worrying about rejection, the last thing you want is everyone to ask you about that person.

"Nah the rumours and the headlines are the best part of it all." Dani chuckles as we sit down at the table.

"Still talking about Shawn huh? To be honest, whatever happens, it's good publicity for both of you." Stephen says and my eyes widen as I look at him. "I know it's a bit harsh but it's true, from what I've heard you're both falling in love with each other, just don't know yet, it's good news. And I'm still salty I'm only knowing about this now, to be honest."

"I'm sorry Steph, but I didn't want to bother you with my boy drama."

"Well, it's kind of important when it comes to Shawn Freaking Mendes."

"By the way, I love the whole concept of the song and I think we all are dying to know what is the album about. Can we talk about that? The background maybe?" The interviewer asks after quickly reading something on his card.

The girls all look at me since this question is for me to answer as we had agreed previously, just like Sky talks about the process of making the song since we're not all together all the time. Dani talks about what's like to be in a band when you're away from everyone and still in school, as well as Sammy, which is a common question. Mar talks about how we became a band since we're "breaking through" as this interviewer mentioned earlier. Although we all give our own opinions and answer when a question is directed to us.
