Vilkas stood there with his clothes on, all black with silver trimmings, and a half cape over his shoulder. He had the war paint off of him, his face entirely clean and his hair brushed by you, with a bit of volume on it. Looking into the mirror he called out. "Are you almost done? How hard is it to put on a dress?"

From behind a partition that the room had you spoke. "Very when you are used to having hand maidens put them on you." You scoffed.

"But you've put on a dress before..." His voice sounded a little concerned.

"Yes, but not one like this. This is a gown. The ones I wore were simply slip on ones." You retorted with a huff, clearly frustrated.

"Oh, that makes sense. I guess it took me longer to get dressed too." He chuckled. "But I've seen you put on armor faster than this. Let me give you a hand." He walked quickly towards you. The man rounded the corner, his eyes widened when he saw you in just your underwear, with the dress half way up your thighs. You gasped, standing up straight and covering yourself with your arms, the dress sliding down to your ankles. Vilkas gulped, unable to take his eyes off of you. Had it been any other man you would have threw things, screamed and hurt him, but you just kept staring at him. "Wow..."

You turned quickly, with a deep blush. "You're just staring..."

He cleared his throat. "S.. Sorry but... this side isn't helping your case either." He chuckled as your hands flew back to cover your butt. "It's not just that, it's you. The way your hair is up, your shoulders and abs and legs so toned. Your smooth skin, those eyes..." You looked over your shoulder, Vilkas shivered delightfully. "You drive me crazy in the best ways."

You looked forward. "Well since you've already seen it..."

"Alright then." You felt his presence behind you, prickling your skin up into goosebumps. His hands moved down your bare shoulders, all the way down your arms and even lower. You felt your body tighten at his rough hands running over your hips. He took the fabric of the dress, pulling it slowly up your body. His fingers delightfully brushing your skin. You felt yourself moan lightly, wishing that this was more than it was now, even as embarrassing as it was. He pushed the dress up over your bosom, his fingers brushing over your amulet, the one you'd forgotten you were even wearing at this point.

You blushed as he leaned his body into your back, looking down over your shoulders. You looked to the side up at him, Vilkas leaned down slightly, placing a soft kiss on the corner of your lips. You turned a little more, tugging at his lips with your own. You both breathed heavily after the long kiss, looking into each other's eyes. You smiled softly. "Thank you, but I'm not done yet, you did the easiest part."

"Oh? So I need to keep my hands on you longer? That's not a problem." His voice was light, his eyes still on you. You reach behind your back, unhooking your bra until you can slide it off under the dress. He watched with curiosity as you threw it to the ground, holding the neckline of the dress that curved around your bosom.

"The corset needs to be tied." You look at him with a soft smile. He nodded before slowly starting to lace the ribbon. You held yourself in place as he did though it felt like he drew it out longer than he needed to. Afterwards he also placed his hands on your shoulders, pushing down the flowing fabric small sleeves of the dress.

"They look better this way..." His fingers ran over the light purple dress, hitting some of the embellishments on the torso until he got to your hips. He toys with the fabric a bit. "Are we done, now?"

"I need to get the slip on but I can do that on my own." You turned to face him, before taking off the Amulet of Mara. "Thank you."

"You..." He stumbled, coughing into his fist to clear his throat. "Are wearing an Amulet of Mara now...?"

You blushed heavily, moving to the table. "I uh... actually put it on a long time ago. Before I even came back to Jorrvaskr. I'd forgotten I was even wearing it, truth be told." You picked up a ring, sliding it onto your right hand, then a pair of earrings and a matching necklace all with emeralds in them. You slid on shoes before turning to him with a smile. "You look... amazing by the way. I never would have guessed that you could clean up that well." You slid on a slip that added volume to the skirt of the dress, smoothing it out over the poof it now created. "Not that I'd want you to. You have a certain rugged quality to you that's appealing."

He rubbed the back of his neck, chuckling a little. "Well you're gorgeous. If this is what the balls you've gone to were I might not have minded them too much."

"They are boring, all you're seeing is the bells and whistles of them." You gave a polite smile as he held out an arm for you to take. You slid your hand in his arm, the man walking you to the mirror.

"Look at yourself. How could any man be bored when he's gotten to look at that all night." You looked into the mirror, blushing a little. "And that's just your looks. Talking to you is a whole other adventure. It's never a dull moment with you. So we're ready. Let's go meet Delphine." You nodded to him before you both left the room, he still had your hand.

The trip to the embassy was short, you were helped down from the carriage by him, his hands on your waist as he lowered you. "Well that was thankfully short. I have our invitation, so let's go." You nodded to him before moving on. He handed the invitation to the guard, she let you both past. The party itself was dull, as you thought but Vilkas was acting like a gentleman the entire time, really playing the part of a party guest. You danced with him, which surprisingly he did so very well.

He had gotten you a drink, bringing it to you with a smile. "You're... actually having a good time... aren't you?"

"I'd be lying if I said no." He took a drink of his wine. "Though I will be happy when it's over. I feel stuffy."

"How do you think I feel? You tied my dress to me and you're pretty strong." He chuckled as you took a drink. "I have an idea for the distraction now, so it's almost over."

"What are you going to do?"

"The man sitting in the corner over there... well he's been cut off from alcohol. If I get him some it's probable that he'll do as we ask. The other option I saw is Erikur." You motioned your head to the man. "Thane of Solitude. He's been eyeing the waitress. The man's a pig. So I'm sure if I mention she's commented on his looks, he'd make a scene. That's the last resort though, no telling what Erikur would say to make the scene not his fault."

"Alright. I'll go get an ale." He looked to you with a positive smile, before heading off to the bar. You looked around another time, mentally preparing yourself to sneak around the embassy to find the information Delphine needed.
