Chapter 19: Talking To The Twins

No one's POV:
Zig and Tori actually wanted to talk to Michael and Bella from the detention center. It was a surprising phone call to get.
Michael and Bella were silently driven there by the officer who helped catch the twins and rescue the toddler.
" You know they may not tell you what you think they're going to say.. " the officer told them. Michael nodded, " I just need to get something off my chest. " he explained.
Bella just stayed quiet next to her brother.
*In the center*
Michael walked in carrying his sister to the table the twins were sitting at. Carefully, he sat down without breaking eye contact with them. " so, " he spoke, " what did you want? " he asked in an almost dangerous voice, challenging them to say something stupid. Bella could feel their eyes on her and she felt uncomfortable, trying to hide her face in Michael's shirt. Zig spoke, " how is she? "
Michael's face twisted. " SHE has a broken leg and is in pain no thanks to you fuckers, she's scared to sleep alone and she cries a lot. That's how she is. " he replied venomously. Bella was embarrassed by his response. Zig looked down at the table, " that wasn't supposed to happen." he whispered. Tori stomped on his foot, " shut.. up!! " she hissed.
" why don't you tell me what WAS supposed to happen, " Michael demanded. Tori glared at him, while still admiring him at the same time before answering in a sickly sweet voice, " oh my Michael, nothing that concerns you. " she spoke. Before he could reply that he will never be hers, Bella remembered something and tapped her brothers arm. " she has a cwush on you, 'member? "
He made a face. " Oh shut it! " Tori yelled at the little girl. Bella knew Tori couldn't hurt her in here so she got brave. " shut youwr jail cell and nevwer come out! " she retaliated. Causing Michael and Zig to both look shocked. Even Tori herself looked surprised. Michael gave his sister a proud look.
" WHAT do you want? Why are we here?" Michael asked again, getting back to business. Tori smiled, and before she could answer she was interrupted by the sassy toddler,
" she want to see YOU cuz she LOVE you! "
" SHUT UP!! " Tori yelled, slamming her fists on the table.
Michael tried to ignore that outburst but still cringed. He turned his attention to Zig,
" Why don't you tell me, after all aren't you the one who hurt her the most? " after hearing that Bella looked sad. Although it was true, he was the one who protected her the most too. He wasn't mean to her the way Tori was, he held her and comforted her when she cried.
Bella interrupted, " no! It was the giwrl, she was wude, not him! " Bella protested. Michael covered her mouth, not wanting her to defend either of the two who kidnapped her.
Tori was shocked as well,
" But HE dropped you and broke your leg! " she exclaimed. Michael glared at the boy after that.
Bella spoke again, " yeah but it you I no like, I hate! " Michael smirked, she has his temper.
With a loud huff Tori looked at her brother,
" don't try to play innocent because you drugged her, and you knocked her out by hitting her, you dropped her and broke her leg, AND you carried her to the park to escape. I didn't do practically anything! " she snapped.
Bella looked up at her, " you huwrt me more. You hit me a lot and made my leg huwrt. And you scawred me. That more than him. " she pointed out, in a soft voice. Michael immediately put his arms around her, thinking she was about to cry.
Then, Zig whispered something to Tori, whose face softened. She looked down at the floor, " I know. " she answered in a quieter voice. Both Michael and Bella were lost, the little girl looked up at her big brother and whispered loudly, " she look calm now. "
Zig and Tori looked at her while Michael tried not to laugh.
Tori sighed, " there's something that makes me calm. Like how next week would be our little sisters 6th birthday. "
Bella was about to ask something but Michael covered her mouth, knowing what she was about to ask. What happened to her?
The 2 teens seemed to know what she meant and answered, " she died a while ago. " Zig told her. Michael already knew this, as he found out when the two kidnapped Bella.
" she was 4, "
Bella froze.
" just like you, " Tori said.
Bella got the shame shiver she got when she was first kidnapped. She didn't say anything but watched Michael eye the two uneasily.
Bella randomly asked, " did she like Justin Biebewr? " Michael covered her mouth.
Tori smiled, " yeah, a lot. Like you. "
Michael narrowed his eyes at them. " what the fuck is this, you go from psycho to talking about your dead sister in front of my sister? You guys are fucking crazy. "
The buzzer rang, signaling that their time was up in the visitation center.
As they exited the room, Michael couldn't help the strange feeling he had now. Something wasn't sitting right with him about this visit. He knew something was about to change.
