No one's POV: A timeline was being put together of exactly how Bella's kidnapping took place. With the help from Zig and Tori, who were being oddly cooperative, the story began to unravel. The last thing the toddler remembered before the twins took her was chasing her jacket when it had flown away, and according to the twins, that's when they struck and Zig hit her, while Tori injected her with a drug to keep her asleep in order to take her to their hideout. That's when they began to interrogate her and leave taunting calls for Michael. They both said they really didn't have an exact reason for taking her, except to see Michael suffer.
Michael was accompanying his sister at the hospital as she picked out a purple cast for her broken leg. She couldn't walk so that meant Michael had to pretty much carry her everywhere, which he did not mind because he promised to never take his eyes off her again. He felt guilty that all this happened the moment he left, and that he never even looked back to see if she was safe. Unfortunately, Bella had to stay in the hospital due to doctors being concerned with the amount of drugs she was given and they needed to keep an eye on her in case of a reaction to the combination of the drugs. Despite knowing what the twins did from themselves, everyone was shocked to hear what the little girl had to say about the encounter from her point of view . " they took me but then the boy dwopped me and the girwl was mad and yelling a lot. She like Michael tho, she say he hot she was cwazy. " Michael quietly gagged and raised an eyebrow. " Oh and den she thrwew me wit the dogs and my leg huwrt bad and is the doggy ok? Wherwe the dog? " Bella asked after rambling. Everyone's jaw dropped at that. It was clear she cared for the dogs more than herself. Her story somewhat matches with what the twins say but it figures they had more information considering Bella was unconscious for quite some time. she didn't like the toddler part or the pictures they showed of her. Seeing the twins pictures on tv made her uneasy, she covered her eyes and hid her face in her brother who turned the tv off. He couldn't help but glare at their pictures before turning it off. He just wanted to kill them for hurting his sister. Last he heard they were being questioned, he wanted to be there as they were being questioned but he knew he had to be here with his sister. Unfortunately the one thing he does know that will happen is that due to the twins' age, they'll only be going to juvenile hall. Not much of a punishment for kidnapping a 4 year old.
As he was silently thinking, his train of thought was broken by the 4 year old in his arms. " Michael? What wong? " ( yes she meant wrong ) she asked, concerned for her brother who was being oddly quiet. He looked down at her to see her brown eyes staring up at him tentatively. He tried to smile, " Nothing, Bell, I'm ok. " he told her. She didn't seem to accept that answer. She grabbed his face and protested, " nuh uh!!! " He raised an eyebrow, " man nothing gets passed her, " he thought. He smirked before placing her on the bed and saying, " nothing, I'll tell you tomorrow. Now it's time to go to bed. " She crossed her arms before finally admitting defeat. As she pulled the blankets up she looked up at him sleepily, before asking " You'll be here though wight? " " Yes I'll be here. " he replied. He watched her sleep, thinking that he should get some rest too, before finally falling asleep on the chair next to his little sisters bed.
