It was like a pin dropped in the room. It all went quiet. Michael held his breath as he tried to process what he just heard. Did these two teenagers really just admit to killing their baby sister or are they just fucking with him?
Bella looked up at her big brother with a confused face, not really understanding what was happening but noticed the way all of a sudden his breathing changed and his attitude shifted.
Zig and Tori both looked proud at this reaction.
Michael had to do a deep breath before asking, " So you decided to take my sister and relive it all over again? Is that it? It was never about you being obsessed with me or some shit it was all about her."
" Jealous? " Zig smirked.
Micheal's face turned to disgust.
" No, I'm fucking creeped out that you two freaks not only kidnapped my sister, but you just admitted to killing their own sister. "
Zig just looked at him.
For some reason Michael felt like they were bragging. Bragging about getting away with it. He knew that when he fought his favorite part of winning a fight was the bragging, especially if his opponent seemed better than him. Everyone loves to gloat over their victories. But this was different. This was something that shouldn't be celebrated.
Zig turned to the little girl, " we want to talk to you. "
Bella was scared and clung to her brother while hiding her face.
" She doesn't want to talk to you. " Michael told them.
" Well we want to hear from her. You've been talking this whole time and she's been mostly quiet. So let her talk. "
Bella was tired and scared, not wanting to cooperate.
" See, " Zig started, " she doesn't agree with anything you're saying. "
Michael glared at him, " NO, she's tired and she doesn't want to be with you freaks. "
" You're welcome to leave at anytime. "
Zig said smugly.
" That's the deal, we talk, you let her talk to us."  Zig said.
" What deal? " Michael shot back, " you admitted to fucking murder there is no deal with you that involves my sister! "
Zig looked at the little girl, " did you think I cared about you? You did, right? You thought I cared about you more than Michael ever did. I could see it on your face the whole time."
Bella got uncomfortable, squirming.
He continued, " you were thinking your big brother wasn't ever going to save you, right? "

Bella didn't know what to say, because he was right. She truly believed that when she was kidnapped, her brother felt happy and wouldn't care that she was gone. She'd never imagined that he'd go to the lengths he did to get her back in the way that he did.

Zig continued talking, " I must say, Michael, when you offered to take her place we were shocked. Of course we wouldn't accept that but nonetheless. "
Hearing that made Bella even more scared. " I wanna go home.. " the little girl whispered to her brother, tugging on his shirt.
Michael just looked down at her, he needed to hear more from them.
Zig continued talking, really just being obnoxious, " want to know why we wouldn't let you take her place? "
Michael rolled his eyes and answered in a bored voice, " because you were too weak to handle me. So you decided to take a 4 year old who couldn't fight back. "
Bella elbowed him for saying that. " what? " Michael asked, " its true! "
Zig nodded, " 4 is the best age they say. " he added. ( NOTE: Zig is not a pedophile, just including that )
Michael stood up, " that's it, we're leaving. "
" What? Don't want to hear about what would've happened to your sister? " Zig taunted.
" obviously the same outcome of yours. " Michael snapped back.
Tori looked at him, finally coming in the conservation after sitting quietly for so long.
" Let them leave, Zig. " she said quietly.
Zig looked at them and at the little girl clinging to her big brother. " Fine. " he spoke. " Go. Just know that you'll always have those questions in the back of your mind. "

As Michael and Bella were heading home, Michael wondered, what questions would actually be answered by them? It seemed useless to just keep going back and forth with them. Every time he talked with them he just had more questions that needed to be answered. It felt like a game that was never going to end.
As he was thinking, he noticed as his little sister struggled to calm down. She hadn't wanted to be there in the first place and now she was visibly shaking.
This was all his fault once again.

AN: I really don't like this chapter but we're almost there! So, I've probably mentioned before, but I never came up with an ending for this story when I originally wrote it in 2011. So now I'm struggling writing this almost last chapter to lead up to the final one that'll be up on the 26th.
