Ashlyn sat on the edge of my bed tentatively, as I closed the door to my room. "I'm sorry Passion." She said after I sank down on a beanbag. "Please don't be mad about me and Zayn. He and Tanya just didn't work out." I looked at her incredulously. "I'm not mad! In fact, I'm gladder than ever." "Then it's OK then." She smiled. "Here, let's tell each other about ourselves."
I found out that Ashlyn was 17 years old, and was actually not that shy as I thought she was. She could be quite funny. She has a brother in a boy band, so she is used to screaming fans as well. After fifteen minutes, Zayn came into my room and broke our conversation. "He's gone." He announced, sitting on my bed too. "Are you two getting along OK?" "Yeah," I replied, and couldn't resist adding. "My project is going very well, thanks to Ashlyn. I might even get an A for it."
"Thank you so much for not telling." He added. "So shall we go out for a while, Ashlyn? Just in case Louis comes back or anything." "You two go off then," I said, waving my hand in the air. "Leave me all by myself in this lonely room, with not a soul to talk to." "Oh, come on!" Zayn said, halfway out of my room with Ashlyn close behind. "Go and find Harry. He's in his room."
"I will find him then," I said, standing up. "Bye guys." I walked across the hall and knocked on Harry's room. Which was a good idea. "Who are you?" He asked with a lazy voice. "Passion," I said. "Wait! Don't come in yet! I'm not wearing anything! let me put something on!" I heard some shuffling in his room, then the creaking sound of the door opening. Harry's head popped out.
"You can come in now." He said, and I followed him inside his room. "Whatcha doing?" I asked. "Just watching a movie." He replied, gesturing to the TV inside his room. "It's Harry Potter, wanna watch it together?" "Sure!" I climbed into his bed and pulled the blankets over my knees. Harry came in after me and we watched Harry and his friends going around and saving the wizarding world.
Can you believe it! Harry Potter and I watched Harry Styles saving the wizarding world! OK, it's the other way round. Sorry. At one point Harry went downstairs to get some soda to drink. In the movie, Harry was in the middle of the first task of the Triwizard Tournament. Hermione: YOUR WAND, HARRY! YOUR WAND!
There was a splash downstairs, Harry came running up the stairs and appeared in the doorway, breathless. "What did you just scream?" He asked me. I laughed. "I never said anything. Hermione did. "I pointed at the TV. He still looked confused. "It's Harry Potter we're talking about here, not Harry Styles."
"Oh, right." He said, looking annoyed. "You made me drop my soda. I hate you." "Hate Hermione, not me," I said, smirking. After two more hours, the rest of the boys came back. I went down to meet them. "Hi, Passion." Niall came over and hugged me. "I missed you." "Um, I saw you a few hours ago," I said, but still hugged back.
"I still miss you." I pulled away from him, just to see Louis and Zayn looking at me with meaningful expressions on their faces. "Hey." The two of them said at the same time. "Can you come up to my room? I want to talk to you about...someone." They stared at each other. "Who?" Liam asked, puzzled.
"Uh..." I said, glancing between Louis and Zayn. "I'll talk to Louis first." Louis grabbed my hand and literally pulled me up to his room. "Lalala, I have a girlfriend!" He sang, dancing around the room and jumping on his bed. I raised my eyebrows at him."Seriously? you just met her today." "I know, but we just ...clicked." Ok, she just reminded me of Lily. "She's a really nice girl, once I got to know her. She can be so charming, like Harry sometimes, but she can still be very sweet and kind." "Harry who?" I asked as a boy with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead and glasses flashed across my mind.
"Your brother, you know, Harry Styles? Hello?" I shook my head, trying to clear Harry Potter out of it. "Oh." I paused for a while. "Then why don't you go along and announce this happy news to the other boys?" "Um..." Louis looked uncomfortable, fidgeting around. "The thing is, I kinda promised the guys something. My last girlfriend was terrible. She, sorry if it's cheesy, broke my heart, so the boys made me promise not to date for at least three months. So I could rethink who's actually good for me, and not make the same mistakes. Same Mistakes, get it?"
I ignored his question. "And how many months has it been now?" "Around one and a half?" He answered. "It was a few days before we adopted you." "Wow. I said, distracted. I've been with you guys for a month and a half only? It seems like it's been forever !" "I know, right? I can't imagine not having you here. I've grown used to it." "Passion!" Zayn hollered from downstairs. "Are you and Louis done talking yet?" I looked at Louis, who nodded his head. He opened his bedroom door for me. " Just don't tell anyone, Ok?"
I sighed. "Are you a hundred percent sure about this? You promised your brothers, I mean friends, you know." The boys are all my brothers but they are not actually each other's brothers, so it's a bit weird. I know it's complicated. "Yeah, yeah, yeah." He waved at me. "Good bye!" I walked to the kitchen where Zayn was.
"Hello, sis!" He said. "Ashlyn and I got you a present!" "Really?" I asked excitedly, then frowned. "What for?" "For keeping our secret, of course! You didn't tell anyone, did you?" "Nope." I replied. "So what's the present?" Zayn produced a little purple box tied with a piece of ribbon from his pocket. He handed it to me and I received it with trembling hands.
"It's beautiful!" I said breathlessly, fingering the silky material of the ribbon. "You haven't even got to the best part yet!" Zayn chuckled. I slowly took the lid off the box and peered inside. It was a thin silver bracelet with golden lining. There were clear blue stones around it. It sparkled and shined under the light,so it gave the impression that it was a magnificent fireworks display.
"Wow." I said, staring at it. Zayn came over and slipped it around my wrist. It fit perfectly.I admired it with eyes that were misty with tears. "Thank you, Zayn!" I said, giving him a gigantic hug, letting a few tears drop. "This is the first present I've ever received!" "You're welcome, darling." "You didn't have to, you know. Helping you keep a secret isn't really that big a thing."
"I know. But we just wanted to give it to you because you're awesome." I smiled as I wiped away the tears. "I love it so much! Can I have Ashlyn's number? I want to thank her myself." "Of course." Zayn grabbed a pen off the kitchen table, and scribbled some numbers on my arm. "Sorry, I don't have any paper." He said, shrugging. I went to my room and texted Ashlyn.
THANKYOOOOOOOUUUUUUU SO MUCH! Can't thank you enough, the bracelet is perfect! Passion J There was a reply almost immediately. You're welcome, babe! It's nothing, really. Enjoy it! Ash I sent my own reply. Def! Pash. As I put my phone away, I smelt a perculiar burning smell. I wrinkled my nose and followed the smell into the kitchen. Louis was cooking something, while Liam was next to him, er...supervising?
"Louis, move over!" Liam scolded, pushing him away, but Louis stood firmly in place. "What's happening?" I asked, going over to look. Louis seemed to be cooking this burnt piece of thing. It was so burnt that it could not be identified. "Louis said he'd cook for us but just look at him!" Liam said crossly.
"What?" Louis protested. "You should be happy I volunteered to cook for you, and not go around pointing at your dinner and whining." "This is not going to be my dinner, Louis." Liam glared at him. "Cook something properly or I'll cook it myself." "I'll choose the latter then. "Louis said, sauntering out of the kitchen.
"Suit yourself!" Liam yelled after him and dumped Louis' burnt attempt at cooking into the bin with more force than he usually would've used. "Want some help, Liam?" I asked like a good little sister. "It's alright Passion." He said tiredly. "Never mind me." Liam made some spaghetti, and we sat down to eat. Liam and Louis sat across from each other, slurping up their spaghetti with all the might they could muster, glaring daggers at the other like they were in a competition
