Gasps filled the room. Louis' eyes widened and he started screeching like an idiot. Niall shook his head repeatedly, whispering words we couldn't hear. "Mate," Harry said slowly, while Zayn just sat there in shock, not moving. Liam stood holding Angie's hand, biting his lip. I was the first to react. "Angie!" I ran over to her and hugged her tightly. "You're going to be a real sister!" "Yes, Passion." She patted my head, a tear dropping from her eyes. "I'm so happy for you! I thought this day would never come." I whispered. "I am, too. I'm glad to be your sister, Pash." I let go of her then jumped on Liam, almost throttling him to death. "Pash, get off me." He said weakly.
"You did it, you did it!" I yelled, hugging him while still jumping. "I am so happy! And Angie's having a baby" I shot a look at her, and immediately understood everything. How Angie though she was 'fat'. And how she had rushed off soon afterwards. How Liam started drinking last night and why he was so abnormally happy this morning. Everything seemed to fall into place. "Oh my gosh, Liam you'll be an actual dad! Ah!" "I know, I know, Pash." He said, hugging my back. "I've always wanted this to happen." "Get out of my way," Louis said, elbowing me. I frowned at him but let him talk to Liam. "Hey, Louis. Be more considerate! She's our sister too!" "Sorry, Pash but; Liam. James. Payne." He demanded, poking Liam's chest. "I cannot believe you."
"What, Louis? Didn't you expect that to happen one day?" Angie said jokingly. "Of course I did. I just never expected it to take so long." Louis kissed her on the cheek. "Congratulations, Angie." "Yay, bro! I know it's a tad early to have a baby and get married, but it is the best news I've heard in a long time!" Zayn got out of his trance and hugged both of them. "Glad to have your blessing, bad boy," Liam said, his eyes, shining. "Congrats. This is so unreal." Harry shook Angie's hand formally. "Harry, drop the act." Angie rolled her eyes. "OK." Harry grinned widely and dropped Angie's hand, instead of flinging his arms around her. "You've got the best guy in the world!" "Hey, Haz, don't break my girl." Liam pulled him off her. "Holy," Niall said again in the background. "Don't say it," Liam warned. "There are two kids in this room." He looked at me then laid a hand on Angie's stomach, blushing.
"What? I was going to say holy chicken nuggets!" Niall pretended to look hurt, but he soon let out a laugh. "You're going to be a husband and dad, Liam! Haha!" "It's not that funny." Now it was Liam's turn to look hurt. "No. Sorry. I just laugh when I'm really, really happy." Niall got up from the sofa and danced around the room the two of them. "Happy happy!" "Thanks, Niall." Angie smiled, hugging him too. Liam's face looked like it would be permanently stretched into a smile. He beamed at me and Angie, at the furniture, at the ceiling. "I'm going to be the baby's aunt!" I said suddenly. "Yes, you are, Pash." Liam turned his smile to me. "Liam. I think I am the happiest girl on the planet right now. I really am." "You always say that you know. But I know that I am the luckiest man ever with the loveliest fiancee ever."
"I heard that, Liam," Angie said, pinching his cheeks playfully. "Ugh. Do that when I'm not here, please." We settled down after a few minutes. Liam collapsed onto the sofa and pulled Angie onto his lap. "You wanna hear how I found out?" Angie asked, and the boys nodded eagerly. She proceeded to tell them about how she had suspected something for a week, then about what happened yesterday morning, and then how she had gone to the doctor and told Liam. "Liam, you were a complete wreck yesterday." Louis pointed out. "What was it? Because of the baby or that you were going to ask her the question?" "Both," Liam replied. "Yesterday I found out about our baby, so there was too much on my mind for me to pluck up my courage and ask her. And then last night, I was so worried about everything. I was so happy about the baby, but I didn't know if Angie wanted it." "Of course I did, darling," Angie said, pecking his cheek.
"Well, yeah, I know now. But I was scared about everything else too. Like how the fans and management will react when they find out. Or if I was old enough for the responsibility of a baby. Other than that, I knew it was the perfect time to ask Angie about getting engaged. Still, there were lots of doubts in my mind." He shrugged, then smiled at me. "Actually, it was Pash who convinced me last night." "I didn't do anything." "But you did. Remember what you said? 'Do whatever your heart tells you to do.' And some time ago you also said Angie loved me. More than I knew." He turned red yet again. "So, I kind of figured out what I wanted to do." "And it turned out perfectly," Angie added, cupping Liam's face and kissing him. Liam wrapped his arms around her neck and kissed her back passionately. The rest of us simultaneously turned away.
