Chapter forty-six:
"There princess." The woman had stepped away from the back of my dress. She was tieing the back of it, where I couldn't reach. "You look wonderful!" She exclaimed. Her hands rested on my shoulders, turning me to look in a massive mirror that was hung on the wall. I stared at myself for a long time. It was a simple dress that came to my knees, it had little color at the edge of the dress. The woman had draped a cartage over my shoulders. It was red with a gold border. It made my eyes stand out. I was pushed away from the mirror, and forced to sit on a cushioned bench. The woman was putting long black socks on me, and shoes. I taped on her shoulder. Her big green eyes looked up.
"You know, I can dress myself?" I asked her.
"Oh I know, but I must make you perfect for him." she smiled, and continued to on what she was doing. Once she was done placing the shoes on me, she stood up and started to pull my hair up into two pigtails, tieing them up with black hair pins. They pointed out at the top with gold marking on them. Stepping away from me she breathed, "Beautiful." She smiled once more, and turned away from me. Opening the door that I had entered, She slipped out and closed the door. I heard it click, I was parying that she didn't lock it. I rushed over, pulling on the handle.
"Damn, she did." I cursed. Stepping back from the door, I sighed. Will I ever get out? I kept asking that question to myself. Sighing again, I knew the answer. Most likely no. Turning heel, I walked in front of the mirror. I wanted to stare at myself longer. I was truly beautiful, my eyes sparkled, hair placed perfectly around my face. I was stunning, I could stand in front of this mirror forever.
I wish I could, but I was stopped. My eyes caught movement from behind me. The door opened, and a man stepped in. The same man from before. The Prince. I turned around to face him. He smiled as he made his way close to me. Looking down at me, I could tell he saw a face of pure innocence. He smirked, as a hand slipped under my chin, raising my eyes to look at him.
"Hm. You sure are pretty."
"Thanks," I replied quickly.
"I cant wait to make you mine."
"Say what?" I was shocked at his sentence. I pushed his hand away, stepping away. His smirk never left his face. The Prince walked over to the bench and sat down looking at me.
"You heard me. In a week, we're getting married."
"Ah no we are not." I snapped.
"We are. Your perfect to be my princess, the only Vocaloid who was naturally born, and who can use their powers properly. That's perfect to be the Princess of the Viruses."
I finally hit me what he was getting at. "No I will never!" I shouted. He's smirked faded.
"Well you leave me no choice then.." He walked up behind me, laying a hand on my shoulder. "If you dont do what I say, I might just get rid of your Family."
"You cant!"
"Yes I can, and I will. If you only do what I say, I'll let them live. Go against me, your family dies, and I still marry you. The choice is yours."
I went blank for a minute, not knowing what to do. I wanted to get away, but I want my family to live. There was only one choice I could make. I gulped and answered, "M-may I help with the wedding plans?"
