Natasha: *watching the local weather*
Weatherman: Today, you can expect partly sunny skies with a high around 73. There will be a disturbance aloft that could spark up some showers and maybe a thunderstorm this afternoon. So just be mindful, if you're planning to spend your Memorial Day outdoors, keep an eye on the sky. Any sun of course will destabilize the atmosphere, and you get these showers firing up! And there will be just enough instability for a thunderstorm to develop as well, that could even produce some hail in a few spots. Any showers or potential thunderstorms will fizzle out when the sun sets, and we lose the daytime heating, making for a partly cloudy and comfy night.
George: I just hope we get the showers and not the thunder.
Natasha: If it thunders, then it thunders. I hope the cookout won't get interrupted.
MaryKLago: I am putting the burgers on the grill now. Sodas are in the cooler.
Natasha: Good to know. We have tents, just in case it starts pouring.
George: That's good. I guess......
