George: I hate North Carolina!
Natasha: Why?
George: It's not the same as Virginia.
Natasha: Every state is different, George!
George: And the thunderstorms in North Carolina are so bad!
Natasha: Thunderstorms are bad everywhere!
George: No, hear me out! At night, when a storm is coming, the lighting is actually purple! It's nothing like the thunderstorms here in Idaho! And the thunder is too loud! Like bombs going off on a battlefield!
Natasha: Wait, the lightning in North Carolina is purple?!
George: That's right! Richmond and I were in North Carolina, recently, and there was a nasty thunderstorm! The sky got all lit up with purple lightning! And also orange lighting! Scared the living daylight out of me!
Me: I have experienced that when I was in North Carolina a bunch of times!
Natasha: Come to think of it, I did too! When I was in Morehead City, I saw a lot of lightning and it was like an orange yellow!
George: Ya see?! That's why I hate North Carolina so much! Those storms down there are too much for my liking! Not to mention the heat!
Natasha: That's just the way North Carolina is, George!
Me: And there's a lot of bugs where I go. Too many of them! And a lot of snakes too!
Francine: Oof!
Me: Yup! Those bugs down there will tear you up! You'll be itching like mad crazy!
George: That's why I'm never going to North Carolina, again!
Me: Well, I heard Mary say something about going there next month! *smugly*
George: For what?
Me: To see a friend. She wants us to go with her.
George: You guys can go, but I'm staying right here in Idaho! Count me out!
MaryKLago: Nope, you're going to North Carolina with us, George! We'll be leaving July 15th! Staying down there till July 21st!
George: Well, I just hope it doesn't thunder in NC around that time frame.
Me: If it happens, it happens.
George: *swallows hard*
