Bughead story ~ roommates

Chapter 22

The next morning jughead woke up tangled up with Betty and he smiled. He loved waking up next to her and now they shared a room it was the best feeling. She was sound asleep, peacefully snoring away; he gently kissed her cheek before getting out of bed, deciding he wanted to make her breakfast in bed. He made his way into the kitchen and started making the coffee and then searching through the cupboards to find something to make. Eventually he decided on eggs on toast and quickly got to making it incase Betty woke up.

When he was done he placed both their coffees and breakfasts on a tray and then made his way back to their bedroom. He placed the tray on the side then sat down next to Betty and gently shook her awake. "Betts, wake up baby" he said and she stirred. He leant down an peppered kisses all over her face. "Mmm" she mumbled. "Morning" she said and pulled the cover over her face. "Hey" jug chuckled. "Wake up I've made us breakfast" he said and pulled the covers away. "Juggie..." Betty said when she saw the tray. "This is so sweet! You didn't have too" she smiled as she sat up. "I wanted to" he shrugged and she cupped his cheeks and placed a soft kiss on his lips. He sat next to her and pulled the tray in between them so they could eat. "This is delicious Juggie" Betty said. "I'm glad you like it" he smiled at her. "I do, thank you" she said. "You're welcome".

After they had eaten and they had got ready for the day they went into the kitchen. "Hey guys" Betty smiled when she saw Reggie and Archie sat eating cereal. "Hey betts" they greeted, jughead came in behind her and made his way over to the coffee machine. "Anyone want any coffee?" He asked. "No thank you. I have a lot of work to do for college today and I don't want to be hyped up on coffee" Betty told him. "How are your classes going?" Reggie asked. "They're going okay but I have an assignment due in on Monday so I really need to get it done" Betty sighed. "You will get it done babe, why don't you start it now?" Jug suggested and Betty nodded. "Yeah I think I will" she said and started walking back to their bedroom. "Let us know if you need anything!" Archie called after her. "I will! Thank you" she yelled back. "So how was sharing a room?" Archie asked jughead. "Amazing" Jug smirked. "Man you are whipped" Reggie laughed, shovelling more cereal in his mouth.

Betty had been working on her work for hours and she was driving herself insane. She knew she wasn't going to get anything done if she was to carry on so she put on her running gear and decided to go for a run. "Hey I'm going for a run" Betty said as she walked past her roommates who were all playing video games. "Okay! Be careful!" Jug said and she blew him a kiss before leaving the apartment. She ran around Central Park, enjoying the late afternoon soon and the crisp air. She took a moment to appreciate how happy she was. She had the most amazing boyfriend and the best roommates, she was so grateful that she moved to New York. After running for a while longer she was hungry so she picked up a few pizzas from a place down the street from the apartment and took them back.

"I'm back and I come bearing gifts" Betty announced when she walked in; the boys were still sat, playing video games, exactly how she had left them before she went out. All three boys turned around and grinned when they saw she had pizza, the shot up and took them into the kitchen. "Thanks Betty" Archie smiles. "This is why we let you move in" Reggie Joked Making Betty giggled. "I love you" Jug smiled and Betty blushed "I love you too".
