The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: The Adventure Continues!

Just friends.

I tapped Caspian on his shoulder making him turn around, he looked unsure of what to say or do.

"Can we talk." I say rasing my shoulders a little.

He smiled and nodded, "you have my undivided attention."

"Can we go somewhere more private?" I asked him quietly.

He nodded and took me into the cabin area, he then lead me to his room.

"No I am not getting into bed with you." I say crossing my arms and putting a definite foot down.

He sighed and sat down on his bed, "No..I just thought this was the most private room. I know your going to yell at me."

"No..I won't." I say calmly but with authority, "But I should."

"You have every right too, you were stabbed in the back by the person who you loved most. It was because of me." He told me looking at the floor.

I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, "No, the person who I loved most was you. Susan and I had trouble getting along. Anyways..I'm past that now. I just want to be friends."

"Wait really?" He asked shocked I would even bring the whole thing up.

I nodded and sat next to him, "If we're going to live together on this ship..we need to coexist."

"Agreed, you probably missed me calling you Princess." He smirked nudging me a little.

I gave a small chuckle as I looked into his dark brown eyes, "You probably missed me calling you prince."

"That I have...I've missed everything about you. For now...friends will be better then nothing." He grinned as he reached out his hand.

I hesitated for a moment but shook his hand, finally things were patched up. Maybe we could be best friends by the end of this whole voyage, I wanted to be more but I couldn't right now....may be never.

"Come on, I have to get up to the top of the ship. Want to learn how to steer?" He asked getting up from the bed and stretching.

I got up too and fixed my shirt that had bunched up at the neckline, "This huge ship???"

"Yea! It's fun! I would take you too see the horses..only we don't have any." He told me as we walked out of the bedroom.

I shook my head at his humor, "Is your horse still alive?"

"Yes! Still as heathy as ever." He smiled as we walked out of the cabin area.

That's when I saw Edmund bump into Sunny, he didn't even acknowledge her.

"Edmund what the heck is going on??" She yelled finally at her breaking point of being ignored.

He sighed and rolled his eyes, "You know."

"I do not!"

"You came back to the battle when I told you not too, you could've gotten killed!" Edmund yelled at her, the whole crew was watching them.

"That was years ago!" Sunny stammered in disbelief of Edmund.

Edmund was acting like me, was I being a bad influence on him?

I walked over to Sunny's side who needed someone to back her up, "Edmund you realize that if she hadn't I would've been dead."

"Those beams could've crushed her! Yet this is the thanks I get for saving her life!" Sunny told him angrily, I don't blame her one bit.
