Everyone was running around the boat like a chicken with its head cut off, I don't blame them.
Drinian was shouting orders to the crew as the sea serpent was jumping in and out of the water. The crew down below was rowing the boat with the big oars, but it wasn't doing much good.
Lucy had ran down to the living quarters with Gale, probably yo get her in a safer place.
As I was on board helping the crew out, the sea serpent was wrapping it's body around the boat. It was squishing tighter and tighter, men were dodging the creature as it entangled its scaly body around vessel.
Caspian had made it to the wheel safely, I was trying to make my way up to where he was. I could get a better vantage point for my bow, hopefully I could shoot this thing in it's weak spot.
"Ed! Christina!!" Caspian called down to the both of us, "We'll ram the serpent. Smash him on the rocks."
"Sounds like a plan!" I shout as I climbed over a part of the monster that was wrapped around the ship.
Edmund yelled back as well, "Steer her to port! I'll keep it on the prow."
I finally made my way up the stairs and by Caspian, he looked at me and smiled before turning his gaze back to the direction of the rocks.
"I'll try and shoot him in his weak spot." I tell the king as he was steering the boat.
He nodded, "my guess is his throat."
"That's what I was thinking." I mentioned as I strung my arrow.
"Look out!"
"Forward!"
"Come on! Pull!"
Just as I was about to shoot, Lucy came beside me with Susan's bow. I looked at her before aiming my weapon at the serpents throat. I took a minute to steady my self, then I shot. It hit exactly where I wanted it too, the serpent cried out but it didn't back down like I had expected.
It encompassed the boat tighter, I cursed under my breath.
Suddenly out of the corner of my eye, the serpent sank his teeth into the dragon that sat on the top of the boat. Edmund was in there, I couldn't talk for a minute.
"No!" Caspian yelled.
"Edmund!" Lucy screeched.
I could hear Sunny cursing in the distance.
"Edmund you idiot! Get out of there!" I shouted hoping he somehow heard me.
"The eyes! You hit one, I'll hit the other!" Lucy shouted at me as she strung her bow.
I nodded and did the same, "you take the right, I'll take the left."
Lucy motioned telling me that it was a go.
"Raise!" I yelled.
We both raised our bows at the same time, she aimed at the right and I aimed at the left.
"Hold it!" I yelled as we both pulled back our strings as far as we could.
After a good couple of seconds of holding the string back, it was time to let go.
"Fire!!!" I shout as we both let the string go.
Our arrows soared through the sky and landed in both eyes, the creature squealed. Just a seconded later, the serpent hit the rock. It cried out even more, it finally let go of the boat.
