The Voyage of the Dawn Treader: The Adventure Continues!

It's Only The Start of Something New

More then a few months have past by the time we landed on the shores of the place I called home, it was a beautiful day today. The sun was shining and birds were chirping, everyone was getting there belongings off the boat.

I didn't have to pack much, but there was a couple things I wanted to bring up stairs my self.

I haven't seen the castle since we last came here, I wonder how much is different and who's still there?

As I was packing things, Sunny came in my room very energetically.

"Are you almost done packing?" She asked in a high pitched voice.

I laughed a little, she has gotten better over the months. She hasn't forgotten Edmund, but she isn't a depressed girl. For that, I am great full.

"Yea, just give me a minute Sun bun." I told her while picking up a couple things in a drawer.

She giggled at the nickname, I had given it to her recently.

"Ok, I'll be on deck when your ready." She told me before she excitedly exited the room again.

I shook my head and walked over to the desk.

"Are you ready love?" Caspian called out to me from up deck.

I looked towards the door and answered him, "Yes!! In a minute!!"

"Ok!" He called back.

I looked at the shelves next to the desk, I made sure that nothing was left behind. I was about to turn around when I heard a thump on the desk, I swiftly turned around and saw that a leather bound journal had fallen out of its cubby.

I picked it up off the surface of the wooden desk and felt it with my hand, I then opened it and looked inside. It was blank, nothing was written in it.

I immediately placed my stuff down and sat in the chair, I pulled out my quill and began writing. No one would miss it, right?

"Dearest Journal,

I can't believe I found you, it's like Aslan him self new I needed something like you. Today marks the day of another adventure. According to Aslan it's only the beginning. I wrote to my sister Susan, I told her that I was sorry for being so cold and that I forgave her. I told her that I loved her, that I was happy. I have finally found piece with in my soul, I found my home. 

I've missed my family in the days that have passed. And thank I wonder, what they are up to now? I will always miss them, with all my heart. All Narnians will till the end of time..but I promise to be the best queen that I can be. Love my people, my country, and my family I have now.

It's onto the next adventure and I wonder...where will it take me?"
