After anyone took a few minutes to compose them selfs, Lucy looked at me with a frown on her face.
I looked at her, I knew exactly what she was going to ask me.
"Your staying aren't you?" She questioned, Lucy came in front of me and took my hand.
I nodded and looked her in the eye, "Narnia is my home."
"I'll miss you." She said as she engulfed me in her arms.
I hugged back, "I'll miss you too."
"Are you sure child?" Aslan asked me.
I let go of my sister and turned around to look at the lion, "yes, my place is here. For the longest time I've tried so hard to find exactly where I belong and that's here."
"And here you shall stay, just know that if you stay...you can never go back to the earthly world. For here you were born, here you will stay." Aslan told me.
I gave a small nod and smiled a bit, "thank you Aslan, I shall be very happy in this world."
"This is our last time here, isn't it?" Lucy asked Aslan, her lips formed into a small frown.
She knew the answer that was about to escape the lions lips, I knew what he was going to say too. That's what made this a bit sad.
Aslan nodded while frowning a bit, "Yes. You have grown up my dear one. Just like Peter and Susan."
Lucy walked over to the majestic lion and touched his mane, "Will you visit us in our world?"
"I shall be watching you, always." Aslan answered back softly.
"How?" Lucy inquired, she was crying small tears now. I didn't blame her, I was ready to cry as well. But, I needed to be strong for Lucy and Edmund.
"In your world, I have another name. You must learn to know me by it. That was the very reason you were brought to Narnia. That by knowing me here for a little... you may know me better there." Aslan answered her in a soft voice.
After watching Aslan and Lucy for a moment, I decided to give them some space. There was someone I needed to say goodbye too, that was Edmund.
I walked over to my brother and engulfed him in my arms, he did the same. I buried my head in his shoulder as I basked in the moment.
"Take care of them for me?" I asked, I felt tears threaten my eyes but I held them back. However, my voice did crack a bit as I asked him the question.
Edmund tightened his arms around me, he placed his chin on my head.
"I will, I promise. Are you sure you want this?" He asked me in a serious tone.
I took a minute to enjoy the moment before lifting my head away from his shoulder and looking at him, "yes, I am sure. Are you sure you want to leave too?"
He nodded and put his hand on my cheek, "take care of her."
Edmund glanced at Sunny for a quick moment and then looked back at me, I took a minute before answering.
"I will, but you've hurt her and it won't go away easily." I told him while looking at Sunny.
She had stopped crying now, but she just stared into the ocean.
Edmund frowned and looked at her one more time, "I know..but there was no other way."
"I know, just stay safe ok? No more running away and joining the army." I teased with a small giggle.
