×Chara's POV×

I awoke gasping for air. Y/n could be heard in the bathroom, sick again. My hand reached up to hold my pounding head, which was aching terribly. Y/n closed the bathroom door loudly, holding her head in a similar fashion.

"Oh, you're up." She mumbled and began to drink from a nearby bottle of water. I guess she had gotten it while I was asleep. "I've been up for a while..."

"I noticed." Her tightened her grip on her head. "Y/n?" She hissed in pain.

"Shush. Too loud."

"But I'm talking normally- oh wait. Hangover." I face palmed at my own stupidity. Of course she'd have the worst hangover of her life. "Sorry."  I whispered.

"It's fine." She half-heartedly replied. Her hand suddenly reached up to her stomach, her other covering her mouth as she ran back to the bathroom. I shook my head. That poor, poor girl.

"We're staying for another day." I said quietly. My head poked into the bathroom, watching as the contents of Y/n's stomach emptied into the toilet. I cringes at the sound. "Is that okay?" Y/n gave me a shaky thumbs up. I bit my lip harshly. With another sigh I stood behind Y/n and grabbed her hair, pulling it out of her face.

"Thanks..." She mumbled. We stayed there for a while before, finally, Y/n stopped throwing up. I excused myself for a moment to go to the now empty store to get Y/n something to eat. Anything would do, she just needed food.

I grabbed some items that could be made easily and began to walk home. I looked around on the walk, observing the empty streets of the town. The roads were dyed red from the townspeople's blood and in the windows of houses could be seen blood smears and hand prints. I smirked proudly.

Suddenly, my eyes fell on the road leading out of town. At the end of it was a silhouette of what appeared to be a child. Did we miss someone? Impossible.

"Who's there?!" I yelled. The figure only stood and stared for a moment before turning away and running off. "H-Hey!!" I chased after it. Unfortunately, it lost me quickly. "Shit." I muttered and shook my head before running back to Y/n.

"Chara?" I heard a laugh, "like it's a question. Do you have food?" I laughed as well.

"Yeah." I handed Y/n her "meal". She immediately began eating. I chuckled at her enthusiasm and laid on the bed. I browsed through TV for the rest of the day and, again, cuddled with Y/n when I slept.

And back on the ever so hot road we were. Even if it was the morning it was pretty hot out, but Y/n seemed to be getting used to it. It probably wouldn't be so bad if I hadn made her carry my sweater, but I didn't want to wear it. And Y/n seemed to love the thing. Win win.

The walk took us until nighttime, but we reached a town. Again, it was much bigger than the last, but it wasn't too bad. We met a few people in the week or so we were there, got some "friends". Of course, they were dead soon, but we heard our names being called a few times, asking us why. My response was a loud laugh before killing them.

Y/n seemed to take it differently, however. Though only a second, she hesitated before killing them. I didn't want to look to deep into it, but it bothered me for a couple days before I forget about it. But... It did start happening more. I wonder what's wrong?
