Away From Her

"Damn right, you stupid girl!" he shouted at the young teen, stomping his foot in anger.

His hair was a fiery red as red as his temper, and Hana noticed he was wearing a dark suit with red snakes on the lapels of the suit and the collars. Black pants adorned his legs, accentuating his height, and brown shoes were on his feet, going for the classic look not hand-in-hand at all with his attitude.

Hana's mouth had gone dry at the sudden appearance of this Sin, and wondered how he even found her in the first place.

Was it when she was talking to Greed? It seemed most likely. Wrath could very much take over her if she wasn't careful with her actions and emotions.

But then the fire was gone, and Wrath was enveloped in red smoke that made the girl squint and cover her eyes to shield herself from the blast.

What she saw next made her gobsmacked.

He was now wearing a casual shirt and ripped jeans, white sneakers on his feet as the smoke gradually disappeared.

What took her aback was the dazzling smile he offered. He didn't look angry at all. Was the world playing tricks on her? Where was Wrath?

"I'm still the same person, young one," he said in greeting, swooping over her and taking ahold of her hand to plant a kiss on it, red eyes still on her own.

"Wha- but you- he-"

He chuckled at her shock, and patted her hand.

"You don't expect us to just be the Sin we embody, hm?" Her mouth gaped open and closed, and she was in dire need of a psychologist, and fast. "My brothers don't agree with me, but I prefer to go beyond expectations. After all, that was just a grand entrance."

All she could say was, "Are you sure you're Wrath?"

He chuckled again, amused at her facial expeessions and slow mind.

"Don't believe me? Want me to call Lust to prove it? You'd be surprised at him, too."

She scoffed, finally regaining a little bit of her composure.

"What, he doesn't wear clothes that are half-revealing?" It was sarcasm, but she never expected it to be confirmed.

"Lust is conservative and shy, but when the occasion calls for it, he'll shed his shell and come as his true self."

When she continued to stare at her, he sighed and decided to elaborate.

"Being Wrath, I was attracted to the hatred and fire you spat out at my brother Greed. But of course I couldn't just waltz in there, lest me and him fight over you." He offered a hand for her to take, but all she did was look at it with skepticism. She was nowhere near trusting this man. If he could be considered as one.

He brought it back to his being, opting to place it over his heart.

"You are the one tasked to bring us back, but let me tell you," at this, he went closer to her face, and she backed away, "we're never going back inside that ludicrous box you call your salvation."

His eyes flashed dangerously, and with a swish of his hand, he too, like all the others, was gone.

Ugh. She is nowhere near to saving the universe.

Heck, it was only lunchtime. And they keep popping up and disappearing with an arrogance that would surely make Pride smile. She has yet to encounter the most dangerous of all.

Her stomach rumbled, calling out to her. She glanced down at it, and decided to treat herself with food to satisfy her hunger.

Walking into a ramen place, she wasted no time in ordering her favorite spicy ramen and wait, if impatiently, for her food to come.
