After picking up the box from where she left it, Choo Hana was ready to go and conquer the Sins. She doesn't want any trouble, but that's exactly what she did. How ironic. She just wants this to be over with.
Wait. No... she shouldn't be thinking like that. She might be an easy target to Sloth if she keeps up this attitude. She's unwilling to let them get the best of her just because she's a human.
Now... where could he be?
As she stood in the middle of the busy city with nothing but a bag which encased the box from where they came from, Hana started to wonder and doubt herself if she was up to this dangerous mission. What if they sent her to hell? What if they easily overpowered her, which is most likely the case? Well at least in this kind of thinking, Pride would find no interest in her whatsoever and leave her alone.
She spotted a bench and was just about to walk over and sit down when she noticed a lump of what seemed like a person under a blanket, draped over the entirety of the bench which was made for (obviously) not one person.
Could this be him lazing around?
Stealthily approaching him, she was about to take out the box when the blanket covering him shifted, and a human-looking person appeared from under, hair disheveled and blue eyes squinting. He was wearing a blue button-down shirt, and he gazed at the young girl before him as if she was the oddity.
"Are you my servant? Fetch me my wine," was all he said before turning on his other side and continuing to doze.
Oh this was Sloth alright.
She ignored him and took out the box, but before she was able to so much as lift the lid, the box jumped out of her hands and onto the farthest street her eye could see.
Her mouth was wide open, but she clamped it shut to glare at the sleepy man who eyed her with boredom in those dim orbs.
"That is very pesky," he said as he snapped his fingers, the blue blanket disappearing from view to reveal a pair of brown shorts. He continued to lie down, but grunted as he gave effort to turn on his side to continue staring at her impassively.
"What did you do?"
Granted, it wasn't a very good thing to say, given the circumstance, but could you blame her for being overwhelmed? She still hadn't gotten over the shock of being the one to accomplish this absurd mission.
A tiny quirk of the lips was what he did.
"You're funny. Lust would definitely play with you for a couple weeks."
An involuntary shudder ran through her spine. She was definitely grossed out by that.
"Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm nobody's plaything. And you can count on that, Sloth."
Said Sin merely inserted a pinkie to his ear, saying "Whoa, such a loud volume for a quiet day, pest. Why don't you calm down and be on your way?"
"I'm sending you back to where you belong, and that's-"
"Is there anyone who can be a dear and get this annoying bee away from me?" Sloth asked in a loud voice, making a few turn their heads in question before going on their way. Seeing as none would cooperate, he snapped his fingers again and suddenly there was a horde of girls surrounding him, all hypnotized from the crowd.
Hana couldn't stop the bubble of frustration burning in her gut, but she remembered Wrath and so attempted to calm her temper. This would do no good. Those girls were all over him, and he was basking in all the attention, the men watching helplessly as the girls were at Sloth's every beck and call. Was this how all Sins were treated before?
"Fine, I'll get you later," she huffed in surrender as she stomped away to where she last saw the box, and that was at the farthest corner of the farthest street. How dare he do this?
Now, who's after Sloth?
Oh lucky... Wrath. Now where would he be lounging around? Would he be like Sloth, just chilling out? No, she doesn't think so.
Where could he be?
Would he be hiding? Is he even aware that there was someone looking for him?
"All that self-doubt is nowhere near attractive, tiny lady," said a voice near her ear, sending chills to shoot up Hana's spine and make her involuntarily turn her head to meet eyes as green as lime, and she can't help the surprised squeak that tumbled out her lips, scurrying as far away from the stranger as she was able. It all depended on the wall that she was leaning on, which refused to stretch farther and get her away from this man.
Wait... eyes as green as lime?
How could she be so silly? This was Envy. Oh no... a second Sin encountered for the day. Was this even normal? She was getting a headache from everything.
"Ohh... how pretty you look." His fingers came up to touch his own face, seemingly dissatisfied of what he was feeling. He reached out a hand toward her, and Hana could only back away for a few more inches before she was totally trapped, utterly unable to escape since Envy's figure was broad and strong. She definitely knew she couldn't escape. Not from him, not from any of them.
"Such big eyes. Hmm... they display your fear." Envy seemed content to just observe her, but she knew that by letting him do as he pleased, he might gain power just like the rest. "How interesting."
Before she could stop him, his fingers were on her cheek, holding her face close to his, green eyes glinting as he scanned her every expression.
"What a pretty mouth, more defined and shaped than my own," he observed, as if lamenting the shape of his own lips.
Has he even seen himself in a mirror? He looked devastatingly gorgeous with those big eyes and thin mouth. But again, this was Envy, and it was all about comparing himself to those with better lives than him.
She grabbed ahold of his large hand and ripped it away from her cheeks, making them sting from the pressure he put on them. She gave him a hard look, and he merely chuckled as he stood to his full height, towering over her own seated figure.
With a flash of green light as green as his eyes, he was gone.
Dammit.
