Lust cackled as he turned a corner, shedding the pink hair to switch to a neutral black with just a shake of the head.

Another sinister laughter joined him, and Lust's eyes shone in merriment as the green mist materialized to reveal the youngest of the seven.

He ran to the younger one then, enveloping him in a warm and affectionate hug even as the younger shied away from the attention for a few seconds, sighing and holding the older anyway.

"My jealous little brother!" cooed Lust as he let go to caress Envy's ebony hair.

"Hyung," returned Envy, admiration and respect dripping from that one honorific. "It's been long since we last saw you. I've been jealous of Gluttony, who saw you in the library that day you gave the mortal the tracker."

Lust giggled gleefully, showcasing pearly whites and wriggling for a change of clothes, which consisted of a black satin cloak with a very low v-line that showed a generous amount of skin. Envy's green orbs flickered to his chest before going back to meet knowing pink ones.

He sighed.

"Don't you think that's too revealing?" he asked the older, who shook his head and consented anyway by making buttons appear on the vest, his magic buttoning up a few to look presentable.

"Better?" Lust asked, to which the younger nodded his approval. "The young girl has no chance of capturing us," he started seriously, looking faraway as if to make sure their captor couldn't see or hear them. He met Envy's expectant orbs then, and continued speaking. "She has no clue, despite having the help and weapons. I even managed to trick her with the tracker, though it backfired on me for seconds before I decided to leave." A short silence invaded them before he added, "And the others?"

"Oh, Pride ate up a man but he was careless a child saw him."

Lust gasped, panic rising in his throat.

"But Sloth was able to put him to sleep and erase that memory," finished Envy, the older breathing out a sigh of relief.

"Pride is too careless," he commented with a click of the tongue. "Let me guess: he transformed into that horse form of his when he did that."

Envy shrugged helplessly, but nodded anyway.

"Ugh hyung is too over-the-top."

The two Sins shared a laugh before growing silent.

"What do you plan to do now?"

Lust met the other's questioning gaze after his softly voiced question, and remained silent for a while, thinking up his reply.

"I'd go around to regain more of my power whilst avoiding the human girl," he admitted. "After all, that's what you all are planning, right?"

"Let Pride decide what our next course of action will be!" cried out a loud and booming voice, alerting the two to a new presence, which exploded in a gust of purple smoke. Lust rolled his eyes at the extravagant entrance and Envy giggled into his palm, used to the eldest's antics.

The smoke disappeared to reveal the one and only Pride, purple orbs glowing and clothes a fine brand down to the shoes.

Lust raised a brow at his footwear.

"Greed gave you those?"

Pride nodded, his smirk of triumph plastered on those rosy lips.

Multiple blasts of colors then surrounded them at different timings, each mist announcing the presence of the other brothers, the power and influence rising as they converged in that alleyway.

Pride rolled his eyes as the playful Gluttony and suave Greed greeted each other with a rough handshake. Wrath came over to Sloth to whisper something in his ear that made the older Sin laugh and display his gums.

"Are we all here? Do I need to do a roll call? No? Alright we're all here, that's a first," Pride commented, the younger ones nodding.

"It just so happens to be a coincidence," Sloth said, earning a dirty glare from the eldest at the rude interruption. Sloth regarded him with cool blue eyes. "So what should our next plan of action be, hyung?"

The eldest grinned as the cogs whirred in his mind, his brilliant plan formulating with each second.

Different colored pairs of eyes watched him with anticipation and awe, the latter feeling coming from the younger ones of the seven.

The eldest took this time to carefully assess each brother's potential and weakness, landing on the angry flames atop Wrath's red hair, Greed's flashy attire, Envy's good looks, Lust's controversial vest, Gluttony's itching fingers, and finally Sloth's blanket hanging from his arm.

"Are you all ready?"

Six pairs of eyes glance at each other in question before going back to Pride's awaiting purple orbs.

It was Greed who asked the unspoken question.

"Ready for what?"

"Ready to take our rightful place as kings?"

Palpable excitement and glee enveloped the six younger ones at the prospect of ruling over the world like old times, where they were the kings and they were served day and night of whatever they pleased.

Power pulsated through their very beings, the walls around them melting at their perverse thoughts. The place was soon filled with a thick miasma that was their desire, stinking up with a rotten smell akin to decaying organisms.

The thought alone was enough to make Gluttony drool in delight, the images of being served already bouncing around in his head.

"But focus!" came Pride's sharp voice cutting through their daydreams, and they stood alert and at the ready for whatever the eldest had to say. He eyed each one carefully before continuing, "The human girl still stands in our way, and we have to dispose of her immediately if we want things to run smoothly."

A flicker of annoyance shone in his deep purple eyes, but it was gone in an instant, almost as if it was never there.

"Any ideas, brother dear?" Wrath asked curiously, afraid to overstep any boundary. He may be the embodiment of anger, but he listened and obeyed only one other than himself, and that was the eldest of them all: Pride.

The air remained tense and at a standstill as seven minds began to think on how to get rid of their adversary.

They've had their fair share of battles even since the beginning of time, and this was one of the times they had to fight once again to keep their status and power. Their current captor may not be up to par with their abilities and strengths, but it wasn't any reason to slacken their defenses and stay perfectly calm. She'd find a way, that was certain, since the Choo family had a knack for stubbornness, especially in things they consider important such as the continuity of the world as it is.

"Destroy her family," Pride said with a tone of finality, and he disappeared after a particularly strong gust of wind.

The six stood there in stupor, giving each other uncertain glances before Lust spoke in a quiet tone.

"I'm afraid her family is already falling apart," he said, garnering the attention of the five.

"What do you mean?" asked Envy, and the worry seeping into his tone did not go unnoticed by the others, but decided not to comment on it.

Lust's Adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed hardly, and spoke no more as he produced a crystal ball, silently beckoning the others to go closer, which they did with no hesitation.

"Look," he uttered, and look they did.
