Spy Meets Soldier|complete

Chapter 6

Nat's POV:

"Does anyone have eyes on Rodgers?" I yell into the microphone on my headpiece, 

"Hiss helicarrier is down, and there is no sign of him or the Winter Soldier" Sam replies. 

After the comment, my heart drops.

"We have to try and find him!" I practically scream with tears threatening to escape my eyes,

"Already on it." Maria Hill confirms.

As were circling around the lake I see a body up on the shore, I have to squint to see who it is but I manage to make out the red and white stripes. It's Steve!

"GUYS DOWN THERE IT'S STEVE!!" I yell. As we get closer to the ground I can see that it is most certainly him.

I run over to him and I can see him breathing, thank feaking god he is still alive.

"Steve" He's not waking up

"STEVE,"

"Steve, please wake up, please Steve." My words are interrupted by my sobs

"Nat?" I look up and see Steve,

"Oh my god, Steve!" I exhale this breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"Let's get you to the hospital Rodgers." I hear Fury say.

In the van on the way to the hospital I see Steve looking over at me,

"Hey  Romanoff, you ok?"

"I should be asking you that hey Rodgers." 

Steve gives a small chuckle and just looks up at me and our eyes interlock, I've only just noticed how blue his eyes are, I could get lost in them all day when Sam interrupts us.

"Like honestly tho, is there something going on between you two" He asks

"Sam" We both say at the same time while rolling our eyes.

"Any way mate were at the hospital" He says

Steve's POV: 

As I'm being wheeled away into surgery the anesthetic starts to pull me under, I start to have this wonderful dream.

"Mummy what movie can we watch" Little james askes,

"Well honey, do you want to watch 'Up'?" Natasha replies

"YES YES YES!" James says while clapping his hands vigorously.

"Come here buddy." I say while lifting him up onto the couch in between Nat and I. As the movie finishes I hear a soft snore, I look down and I see James laying against me, so I scoop him up in my arms and carry him upstairs.

When I come back down I see Nat making cups of tea,

"Hey love." I say while hugging her from behind

" Heyy." She says as se snuggles into the crock of my neck.

"Have I told you how much I love you?" I ask

"Yes I believe at least 3000 times today. Why?"

"Because I love you so much"

"I love you so much too" Se replies and turns around. We're facing each other and both lean in. We kiss each other and she pulls away,

"I don't know what I would do without you Steve Rodgers."

"And I don't know what I would do without you Natalia Rodgers"

 Ughhh my face is so sore, I open my eyes and see Sam and Nat sitting in the chair.

"So Rodgers, whos James?" He says while smirking at me.
