Chapter 7

Nat's POV:
Steve started talking in his sleep, he was saying things like "i love you Nat" and said something about someone called James. I have no clue but I just looked over at Sam,
"hey don't ask me questions i'm not the one dreaming about you." He simply said.
I love Steve but I never thought he would love me back, I mean i'm just an ex-assassin. Someone not worthy of love.  He starts to wake up and he catches my eye, I look back down because I don't want to fall harder.
"So, who's James?" Sam asks with a smirk,
OH MY FUCKING GOD I COULD REALLY KILL HIM RIGHT NOW.
"What do you mean- how do you know?" He replies
"Rogers you talk in your sleep."
"it's nothing don't worry" He replies as he looks over at me.
"i'm just gonna go find Nick, you two have fun. Not too much fun tho." He says while walking out,
"Sam" we say together,
"You two are the same person, that's all i'm saying!" He argues as he walked out.
"Look Nat, I really need to tell you something," He starts
"Same here Rogers." I reply, "You go first tho." I say as I love over to his bed.
"Look, when I came out of the ice I had nothing, well I thought I had nothing. Before I knew Bucky was alive I was all alone. Then I got this family, I got you. I knew we had chemistry since I first met you. I tried to push that fact away because everyone in the avengers seemed as close as family. I didn't love you as a sister but I loved you as a friend and now I think I love you as more. Being on the run with you has been a real eye opener for me with this whole 'us' thing. Nat, I only stayed here after I woke from the ice for two reasons; 1. being Peggy founding S.H.E.I.L.D and 2. you. I don't know about you but Natasha Romanoff, I love you." I'm for one lost for words, no snarky come back, just the words,
"I love you too Steve" I say as I take his hand in mine. Just then I go in for our second kiss, his lips still soft as ever.
"You still uncomfortable?" I sat with a smirk
"That isn't exactly he word I would use." He says playing along.
"Got it, all of it on tape. By the way Steve that speech was beautiful, Tony owes me 10 bucks." I hear Sams voice coming from the doorway,
"OH MY GOD FUCK OFF SAM!" Steve yells,
"language." I say.
"Oh the things I would say if I didn't love you." Steve says as he moves over and makes room for me on the side of his bed with me. I nuzzled into his neck and he placed a kiss on my for head.
So maybe love isn't just for children.
Steve's POV:
I finally had her, she's mine. That beautiful girl, such a huge heart. Words cant describe how lucky i am. Now I just have to wait to get out of this hell hole.

Nat and I haven't told anyone we're dating yet. We're arriving back to the tower and we are created with a welcome home party. We decided to tell them tonight, here goes nothing ,
"Hey guys, I have an announcement." I say  "Well, Nat and I may or may not be dating." I take her hand in mine and I look up to see their reactions but all I see are a bunch of people getting money and people giving money.
"Where you honestly betting on us?" I ask,
"Of course we where, you guys have been the it couple around here. Sorry Tony and Pepper." Sam says,
"Apology not accepted, look how hot I am, it's safe to say we're the hottest couple here." He replies.
The only person who has some sense in them is Barton,
"I swear to god Steve if you hurt one cell on her body I will not hesitate to hit you so hard you will enter the multiverse." He says,
"Wouldn't even dream of it." I say looking dow at her, she places her head on my shoulder and I know that my life is almost complete.
