It was a bright, sunny day back in the modern world. Link, Zelda, and Aryll went through a portal, ending up in an alleyway near the orphanage.

In Link's hand, he closed the silver pocketwatch which Ganondorf happened to drop when Link was spilling his blood. The portal disappeared in sight, Aryll's eyes were in awe.

Link inhaled and exhaled through his nose. "It's so good to be back home."

"Link!" Aryll whined. "You promised to explain everything to me! Where were we? How did you make that portal appear? What even happened?!"

Link chuckled, placing his hand on her head. "Later, Aryll. What's important right now is to let everyone know we're safe."

Aryll pouted while crossing her arms. "Fine... Will you tell me everything as a bedtime story?"

"Deal."

Aryll's eyes sparkled. "I've never been more excited to sleep!"

Link gently grabbed her hand. "Let's go greet everyone." Zelda grabbed Aryll's other hand, sweetly smiling at her. Walking together, they looked like a happy family of three.

Walking towards the orphanage, the three noticed there were a couple of police cars parked in front of the orphanage. Confused about what was going on, the three proceeded towards that direction.

One of the children noticed Link, Zelda, and Aryll walking their way, pointing towards their direction. "Look! It's them! They're alive!" The people in charge of the orphanage along with the other children hurried over towards the three with relieved faces.

They checked to make sure Aryll and Link were alright, surprised to see they were in perfect shape.

One of the adults spoke up. "Thank goodness you two are alright! You were missing for a few weeks! We were assuming the worse!"

Link cocked an eyebrow. "A few weeks..?" He could have sworn they were only gone for three days.

Zelda leaned close to his ear. "I forgot to mention... The other world's time is different. One day there equals one week here."

Link was trying his best to hold in his surprise, trying to play it cool. "Oh... I had no idea how much time has passed."

Another adult spoke up. "This young man from your school was nice enough to help us out. His father is a cop, and he practically begged him to help search for you."

"I didn't beg my pops to find him!" A familiar voice shouted. To Link's and Zelda's surprise, Groose stepped into the group. Seeing Link, he looked a bit annoyed but relieved at the same time. "Where the hell have you been all this time?!"

Link looked around with his eyes, unknowing what to even say or feel at the moment. "I was... Captured by those weird pig things like my sister was."
