Chapter 4

I found Louis waiting for me and we both walked to class. we didnt have any together but it wasnt uch of a problem because if we were together there isa 99.99% chance that nothing would get done.

When I walked into my first class I was greeted with legit nothing. You would think that a transfer student who came in half way through the year would gain more attention. especially at a boarding school.

The teacher waved me into the clssroom and made me stand at the front. "Please introduce yourself," she said. She said it like it was a chore which most likely means she doesn't like her job. I wouldn't.

"My name is Meri. I'm from England." with that I just walked towards an empty seat. Pretty much all of my classes ended up being that awkward.  

I was just leaving my last class before lunch when I ran into Mathew. He was standing off to the side of the halway right looking at a huge statue of a moose... I don't know how big a moose is but I sure as hell hope it isn't as big as that statue because it was basically two of me.

"Mathew! Hey, how are you?" As soon as the tall blond heard his name, he turned towards my voice with a startled look. "You okay there, man?"

"Oh no, I'm fine," He confirmed, stepping a bit towards me so I could hear better. He had such a soft voice that you really had to listen for it. "I was just thinking a bit. Usually people don't notice me in the hallways..."

I looked at him with a bit of question. "But your so tall, how can they not notice you?" I patted his shoulder in sympathy. "Well if they ever, you now,  not notice you again then I'll make sure to draw their attention. Also we are officially dubbed as friends because I need to make friends according to my family. You seem like a nice person who I can befriend."

Mathew looked down at me with a mix of surprise and curiosity. I just smiled at him and grabbed his hand. "official friend handshake shall now be passed on to you." I showed him the series of movements I had memorized after years of doing the same gestures with Louis.

"You are strange," he said after finally getting down the correct movements. his hand had lowered to his side.

"Yes, I have been told so before. Care to join this strange individual at lunch with her strange brother?"

And that was how I made friends with Mathew Williams, Louis's new roommate. Our strange friendship of three had been flowing smoothly. That was until Mathew suddenly became anxious. And I'm talking more anxious than standard Mathew W. everyday anxiety. 

So he was confronted by non other than me. I cornered him in the hallway just before 4th Period.

"Mathew!" He looked as startled as the day I first saw him in the hallways. 

"Yes?"

"Why are you acting so weird? Like, more weird than normal?" He looked offended for a split second before sighing

"My brothers are coming to visit. They are supposed to be here by tomorrow. They are a bit overwhelming and I was hoping I could finish the semester befor ethey decidedtheir surprise visit." Mathew looked a bit pale.  He must be worried about the visit... just stating the obvious.

"Well at least when they visit they get to meet your totally awesome new friends." I gave him a pat on the shoulder, the usual form of comfort I gave him when he had anxiety. "Don't worry about it, me and Louis have your back!"

"Thanks Meri. I'm honestly very excited for them to meet you aswell.  I just don't really feel up to dealing with the reason for their visit." He kind of closed up after that so I switched the topic.

"Well at least you dont have to deal with my crazy sister coming to town. I'm sure that would be even more chaos dipped in trouble sauce." 

Hallo peeps, I'm typing on my laptop which doesnt give auto correct fixes or capitalization so I'm sorry for any mistakes I missed. This is just my tiny filler chapter I did while bored to start off more characters coming in. I dont know if it will be the nect chapter or the one after but i want to make the big reveal to the FACE family really soon. 

Theres a good chance my next update will be next month because next week is my finals and after that im going camping till the 3rd, I plan to get a summer job and then I am going to an expo in my city on the 13th and 14th so there may not be a chapter for a while, sorry peeps.

What is your favourite season and why?

Mine is winter for many reasons. I get to laze around in the house with an excuse, I can curl up with hot drinks and blankets, and theres no bugs. It's also really pretty with the hoar frost and snow. The only thing I dislike is the potential frost bite of the cold.
