I Need You

Chapter 14

I walked to the bathroom to grab the last of my stuff and put it in my suitcase. Once it was zipped up I grabbed my phone and called Jimin.

"Hey." Jimin said groggily.

"Jimmie, are you okay?" I asked.

"Yes, I am. Don't worry about me." he said.

"You are a good friend, how can I not worry about you?"

"I'm okay. Seriously. Yoongi and Jin are taking really good care of me."

"Well okay. I just wanted to check on you. Feel better and see you soon."

I hung up and put my phone in my purse. Then I grabbed my bag and took it to the front room. There was Namjoon just standing there.

"Did you pack?" I asked.

"Yes, I was already packed. I packed last night after putting you to bed."

"Oh. Let's go then."

We walked to the elevator and went down to the lobby to check out. Once we did that we were on our way to the airport. Namjoon looked a bit mad, so I thought it best to not bother him. I texted Enid.

Me: Hey E.

Enid: Hey girl. Long time no talk. How is Korea?

Me: Yeah. I got to talk to you about that. I will be back soon. We need to meet up somewhere and talk. I need you so bad right now.

Enid: Okay. Of course. Just let me know the details.

Me: Okay. Bye E.

Enid: Bye Lola.

I felt better knowing that I was going to tell Lola everything. She is one person that I can trust anything with. She will keep my secret. She kept the secret about what mom and James were doing to me for years. Once we arrived at the airport, we climbed aboard and I sat down a bit away from Namjoon. He still looks mad. Soon we were in the air on our way back home. I'm bummed that I didn't get to see Paris, but I want to be back home where I can better take care of my friends. And now that Namjoon and I are married, they are family as well. Namjoon came and sat next to me a few hours before we were due to land. We didn't talk up until now.

"Lola, are you okay?" he asked.

"Yes. I'm fine. Why?"

"You have been quiet and not eating."

"Oh, well you looked mad earlier so I avoided you. And I have been so busy in thought that I didn't realize there was food."

"I wasn't mad. Maybe upset because I wanted to spend some time with you. But I cant be mad at you when you want to go and help my guys."

"Oh. Well they are my friends, and they have grown on me these past few weeks."

"I'm glad." Namjoon said smiling.

"Hey, when we land and I check on Jimin, can I meet up with Enid? We need to talk and I miss her bad."

"Sure."

"I want to go alone. She can't know that I'm with you yet. She thinks I'm getting back from Korea."

"Okay. I will send someone with you that she cant see. She wont even realize it."

"Fine." I say.

Namjoon smiled at me and looked out of the window. I smiled to myself and was actually excited to get back. We had some more chit chat while we were waiting to land. Once we landed I jumped out of my seat and quickly walked out of the plane. I heard Namjoon laughing at me. The ride from the airport to the house felt to long. Once we parked I jumped out of the car and ran to Jimin's room.

"Jimmie!" I yelled walking into his room.

"Lola, what are you doing here?" Jimin asked.

"I came to check on you. I made Namjoon bring me back so we could check on you guys." I say.

"Wow. That's so sweet of you." Jimin said smiling.

We sat and talked for a bit until Jimin got a phone call. He started talking in Korean. I just sat there feeling so awkward. Soon he hung up and turned to me.

"So that was my uncle."

"What does he want?" I ask.

"He said he wants to see you and explain why he acted the way he did. I told him you wouldn't want to, but he asked me to ask you anyways." Jimin said.

"I don't know. I need more time. Anyways, I got to go. I'm meeting Enid."

"Have fun. See ya soon."

I walked to the car and drove to the café that we agreed to meet at. I saw Enid sitting at a booth sipping a drink.

"Hey E." I say hugging her.

"Hey Lola. How have you been?" she asked.

"I have been okay. I have a lot to tell you." I say.

"Well I have some things to tell you too."

"You go first Enid."

"Okay, so me and Axel are engaged! And I'm pregnant."

"Oh my gosh! Really? I'm so excited and happy for you guys. You guys will make great parents. And I'm going to be an aunt!"

"We are excited as well. James and Marina even reached out to us. Axel has refused to contact them."

"Well I don't blame him." I say.

"So tell me what has been going on with you."

"Okay, but you have to promise to keep it to yourself. I'm not ready for Axel to know yet."

"I promise."

So I launched into the whole story. Enid sat listening the whole time, gasping at certain things. Once I finished Enid looked like she was going to cry.

"Lola that's horrible." Enid says.

"Not really. They take really good care of me. And Namjoon has been a lot nicer since we got married, I'm fine." I smiled at Enid.

"Okay. If you say you are fine. Then I'm fine."

"So how far along are you?" I ask.

"Twelve weeks. And Axel wants to get married before the baby comes."

"I'm so happy for you. Really." I say hugging Enid.

"Me too. I wish you didn't have to leave so soon."

"I know. But we will meet up again soon. I have to figure out a way to tell Axel. Maybe you could help me."

"Of course."

We hugged once again, and I walked to the car. Suddenly someone came up from behind me with a gun to my back.

"Stay quiet and I won't hurt you."

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Stay quiet." He said digging the gun deeper into my back.

Namjoon I wish you were here. I'm going to die.

"Please, let me go. I haven't seen your face, so I wont say anything."

"I'm not going to fall for that."

"I'm serious. Please let me go."

"I told you to be quiet." the guy said getting mad.

Suddenly the gun went off. I felt a pain in my back, and then before the darkness over took me, I heard someone screaming my name.
