I Need You

Chapter 23

We met Enid and her mom and her sister and a few other friends at the bridal shop. Once we all sat down, the attendant took Enid and us girls to look at dresses. Enid decided on a style that would help with my bump, since it's still growing. We then walked into the changing rooms and put on the dresses.

"E, these are beautiful." I say wen I see myself in the mirror.

"Yeah. Gorgeous. "Enid's mom commented.

The attendant came with a seamstress and took our measurements to fix the dresses to our sizes. I chatted with Enid's mom about the baby and the wedding. It was a nice time. Jin and Hoseok just sat there letting us women be women. After we all got dressed and left we decided to go eat cause Enid and I were starving. I decided to text Namjoon.

Me: Joonie, we are done with the first fitting. And since Enid and I got hungry, we decided to go eat. Jin and Hoseok are carefully watching me and the surroundings so don't worry. Love you and I will be home soon.
Joonie: Okay love. Just please be careful. You and the baby are special to me. Love you too.

I smiled as I put my phone away. I truly love Namjoon. If you would have told me about 4 months ago that I would fall in love with a mafia dude who forced me to marry him, I would think you were crazy. After an hour of eating and talking we all decided to head our seperate ways. I checked the time to see it was three in the afternoon. I had to get home and get the house ready for dinner tonight. Jin and Hoseok walked me to the car and we headed home. Jin and I discussed dinner options on the way. Once home, I kissed Namjoon and joined Jin in the kitchen. We decided to make roasted chicken with veggies and a chocolate cake for dessert. Once the roast was in the oven and cooking I decided to go get ready. I stripped our of my clothes and turned on the bath. I looked at myself in the mirror.  I still couldn't believe I was carrying a human being inside my stomach. I'm so lucky to have Namjoon by my side during this time. Once the water was hot, I stepped in the shower and got to washing. Once inwas clean I decided I was going to try to shave my legs and such. No luck. Turns out at barely 4 months pregnant it was uncomfortable to bend down. Looks like no dress today. I turned off the water, and stepped out of the shower. I dried myself off and then tied my robe around me and walked to my closet to find clothes. Since I am meeting dads wife and my brothers tonight I want to look good. I decide on some black skinny jeans, a pink blouse and my favorite cream cardigan. Once dressed I walked to my vanity and sat down, I decided to keep my hair down and let it air dry as I did a light layer of makeup. Once done I grabbed my black flats and headed downstairs. As I landed on the last step I got a text.

Dad: Lola dear, we are outside. I know its early but Hana just couldn't wait.

Me: Its okay dad. Come to the door.

I pocketed my phone and walked to the door as the bell rung. I answered it. There was my dad standing next to a woman I'm assuming is Hana.

"Hey dad. Please come in." I say.

Dad, Hana and the boys come in and I lead them to the living room.

"Lola, this is Hana, my wife. Hana this is my daughter Lola." Ji-hoo said.

"Hello Hana, pleasure to finally meet you." I say with a smile.

"Hello Lola. Pleasure for me as well."

"Lola, these are your brothers, this is Ji-hye, and this is Ji-hun."

"Hello" I said smiling at them.

"Hello" they both said.

"Dad. if you excuse me, I have to go find my husband."

"Of course, go ahead sweetheart." dad replied.

"Jimmie!" I slightly yell.

Jimin comes into the room.

"Yes Lola?" He asks.

"Can you keep dad busy while I look for Joon. And remember dinner at 6." I say.

"Yeah, sure."

I walk to the study to find Namjoon sitting at his desk with a scowl on his face.

"Joon, baby. Is everything okay?" I ask.

"No. Somehow I lost half of my shipment this week."

"Oh. I'm sorry love. But my dad is here. Are you ready to mingle?" I ask.

"Oh. Yeah. Let's go."

Namjoon gets up from his desk and follows me out. Once in the living room I introduce Namjoon to my dad Hana.

"Namjoon, this is my dad, Ji-hoo, his wife Hana, and my brothers, Ji-hye and Ji-hun. Dad, Hana and boys this is my husband Kim Namjoon." I said.

My brothers were surprisingly happy to meet me and Hana kept saying I'm the daughter she could never have. Soon Jin announced that the food was ready and right after Enid and Axel show up. After quick introductions we all sit down to eat. I quickly run to Jin's side and ask him if he could get the boxes out of his closet. So we quickly excuse ourselves and grab them. Everyone eyes us as we walked back in. Jin started handing boxes out while I spoke up.

"Everyone I have invited you all here to announce a surprise. It's inside each of these boxes. I wanted to give them to you before we eat. Namjoon and I got tested to find out the baby's gender. I got the call a few days back. Inside is the gender. Please open the boxes."

Soon everyone was opening the boxes and gasping. I watched Namjoon's reaction.

"Angel we are having a daughter?" Namjoon asks.

"Yes love. We are having a girl." I say.

Namjoon quickly gets up and hugs me and kisses me so passionately. Once he is done Taehyung runs up to me.

"I cant wait to meet my niece Noona. She will look pretty like her mom" he says as he hugs me.

"We have a name picked out already." I say.

"Kim Soo Young." Namjoon says proudly.

"So Emily is getting a girl cousin to play with!" Enid squealed as I laugh.

The rest of the dinner is full of lively conversation and laughter. Everyone is thrilled to about the news. I just sat there and smile while looking at my family.
