Milk

"It's June, Gabriel!"
I'm sure we all know who said that.

"He means the 1996 film, Independence Day.You know, crazy space ships, phenomena happening around the globe?"
I said to explain what Gabriel meant and Dariush rolled his eyes at my explanation and gave me a look that said he didn't care about movies right now.

"Oh, Wait!Maybe North Korea's invaded!ZhenZhen, call it off!"
Dariush claims and yells at ZhenZhen, recieving a deadly look of annoyance in return.

"We just-we just need to wait here until the adults realise they left us and come back!"
Alex states innocently.

"Oh man, what if they never come back, i'm gonna die here with you losers?!"

"Lex, buddy, i don't know if you know this but your camp is full of dingbats.Suggesting on the time of your watch, they are already gone.Good faith though!"
I say encouragingly and shrug my shoulders in a polite and innocent way, playing with a smooth pebble on the ground.

"I never even had sex yet!"
We all froze at his idiotic statement and i rolled my eyes at him, throwing the stone up and repeatedly catching it in my hand for a little calmness.My mother said to do something like this because if your in a dangerous situation, you wouldn't be doing it.Tricks your brain into thinkkng nothing is wrong and therefore relieve your nerves.

"I'ma clear that up, i had sex!I had sex before, i mean, i haven't had sex with two girls at once, that's what i mean.I mean, ZhenZhen, Eleanor, if you want to you know we could-"

"Alright knock it off!We're NOT going to die!It's probably just a forest fire!We gotta get out of here because bears can be crazy!"
Gabriel says while patting Dariush' shoulder and shrugging his shoulders all the while sounding not too convincing.

"Gabe?I mean, hate to break it to you, but i've studied nature thoroughly before.And also, a Forest Fire doesn't cause flying ships to soar around,"
I say while giving him a once-over which explained what i meant.His cheeks turned pink when i called him 'Gabe', making me smile and giggle.

"Slow your goddamn roll!Did you just say bears?I don't do so well with bears man!I'm not trying to get Dicaprio'd up in here!"
Bucket boy said in a frantic tone, his breathing accelerating to some abnormal extent.

  "No one does well with Bears, Dariush."
I said in a 'Duh' tone of voice, even Hunters don't do well with bears.One wrong move and they die or get badly injured if you are not careful.

"Woah, uh, ask Werner Herzog.Grizzly man lived with those things for years, so check that out."
He said as if he was the best one here, all-knowing and stuff.I rubbed my temples with my middle and index fingers, about to drown myself in this river.

"Did you watch the end of that movie..?"
Gabriel asked in a fake quizzical manner.I snorted quietly at Dariush' flabbergasted face as he was asked that question.

"Did i watch-yeah i watched- no i didn't.."

"At the end of Grizzly Man, Treadwell and Amie were partially eaten by a bear and died.Now, any other pathetic arguement or can we finally move on?!"
I yelled, frustrated with how much precious time we are wasting when we could be at camp right now and figuring out the most effective ways on how to get back.
They both looked at me and rapidly moved apart from eachother, glaring eachother down and probably whispering small curses at one and other to express their anger.

"No dude, ok?Stop!Gabriel and Eleanor's right.Black Bears are opportunistic carnivores.We aren't going to survive the wilderness through the night,"
Alex explained as i stood inbetween ZhenZhen and Gabriel, my arms folded infront of my chest as i examined the situation infront of me.
"Then let's go!Come on!"

We all ran back to Rim of the World camp, fog was thick and tumbled through the air as we came to the borders, warily walking inside.

  "Hello?!"

   "Hello?"

   We ran further into the camp, our heads snapping around in multiple different directions in an attempt to find someone that could've stayed behind accidentally during the chaotic evacuation.

  "Where is everyone?!"
     Dariush yelled out.

   "All your mates have gone!I mean, the evacuation was in quite a hurry!"
    I added on, breathing heavily from all of the running and all the pressure and stress.

  "Is anybody here?!"

   "Yo, do you see anybody?"

  We continued on running until i spotted a sign on one of the maps of the camp, dark red spray paint decorated it to create a message, most likely to anyone left behind.

  "What's that?Gone down mountain,"
      Dariush said in a breathy voice.

    "Stragglers call 911? How will we do that when none of our tech works?"
    I mutter, wrapping my arm around my stomach and adjusting my rose gold glasses with my free hand.

   "They-they left us!"

    "Not all of them, look!"

   We all look to where Gabriel's gaze was pointed and see a stoned man lying down on a table, completely motionless.I furrow my brows, why was he on the table..

  "It's Heavy Metal Conrad!"

   "Conrad!"

   "Conrad!"
     We all went dashing rapidly down to the man as i sat down, placing two fingers on his most dominant vein to check for a pulse.

  "He's alive alright, just stoned."
    I say and immediately snatch my hand away from Conrad's wrist, wiping it away with a distasteful expression painted on my face.

   "Yeah, El's right.Must've slept through the evacuation."
    Gabriel explains further as Dariush looks at the both of us like we were crazy ding dongs.

   "Sleeping- what kind of asshole sleeps through the evacuation?!"
    Dariush says and slaps Conrad on the leg.

   "You literally nicknamed him, Heavy Metal Conrad.You do the math!"
    I say and hold one index finger up on each of my hands and then make a pluss sign, putting it in Dariush' face then taking them away to peove my point.Gabriel and Alex just snickers while ZhenZhen spots a flash labelled 'milk'.

  ZhenZhen immediately opens it up and takes a swig of it, finishing it and threw it away to the dead grass with no problems whatsoever.I eye the flask of 'milk' then ZhenZhen with shock and shake my head with disbelief aswell as amusement.

   "I don't think that...that was milk."
