Can love really transform you into Better or worse?
{Worth binge reading}
Will Ivar, the ruthless handsome Viking fall in love with Nova, a French princess who is polar opposite to him? A historical fiction based on the year of 1000 AD, this story...
(Song that I was listening to - Clean (Cover by Travis Atreo) by Taylor Swift)
Ivar's POV
"I have to do it, I have no option" I say as I sharpen my sword
"Have you lost your fucking mind?" Floki angrily gets up and swats my arm, "You are too hungry for power!"
"I am not, Kattegat needs me" I say
"And so does Nova" Floki replies, "Get your head out of your butt Ivar, you are making a big mistake"
A part of me agrees with him
"Oh shut up you knock kneed fool" I look at him in disgust and say, "You talk as if it is easy for me to do this"
"If she was that important to you, you wouldn't have thought about leaving her behind" Floki sits next to me again
"A big mistake, HUGE ONE" Floki gestures with his arms
"I will come back for her, once I defeat King Harold" I say as a look at Floki again and try to read his horrid facial expressions
"And she will be waiting for you here? Like a damsel in distress?" Floki questions

"Yes" I reply, "After all she is just a fragile woman"
Floki laughs
"You are way ahead of yourself Ivar" Floki says and shakes his head, "May the Gods favour you" he gets up and leaves
Hmmm maybe she will forget about me when I return as it could be years or days. I love her so much that the thought of saying bye to her make my stomach turn. It's the first time I have loved anyone ever apart from my mother. She brought out a kind gentle side of me which I never knew of.
She healed me
And I need to make sure that she....
Wait! An idea!
I have to impregnate her so as to have a child with her, that is my surety that she stays on my side, forever
