The Rein On My Life

Nova's POV

"And that's what I told him" I say as I stand by the fireplace, "To enter through the west wing wall"

"Hmmm" Jezebel says

"I do love him" I say, "No matter how much he broke me, they broken pieces scream out his name" I say dreamily

Jezebel and I get lost in deep conversation as I pace back and forth in the room while she sits on the sofa and thinks. She is my right hand, I don't trust anyone besides her.

"What you are doing is right" She says as she looks deep in my eyes, "Beg the lord to forgive you, that is all" 

I take Ella horse rein in my hands and toss it into the air, just for the fun of it or maybe because fidgeting makes me think harder

(Horse Rein & Bridle)

"This is the only way I save France and my heart" I say while still playing with the reins

*The chamber door abruptly opens*

"YOU WRETCH, I HEARD EVERYTHING!" Judith storms in

I look at Jezebel and Jezebel looks at me, in total disbelief

"HOW CAN YOU EVEN THINK OF BETRAYING MY SON?!" Judith screams

"Judith, you must be mistaken" I say to cover up but I know I am failing

"YOU ARE A GODLESS WOMAN WHO ONLY CRAVES FOR MY SON'S BLOOD" Judith howls

I force my mind to think of any way out but I cannot

"HOW DARE YOU SPY ON ME?" I retaliate as Jezebel stands up

"I WILL TELL ALFRED EVERYTHING!!" She screams, "EVERYTHING" she says as her skin becomes red

"Please Judith, stop" I beg but she doesn't

She turns around and walks towards the door but I squeeze in and block the door

"Judith, I am pregnant with Alfred's child" I say as my eyes get teary, 'Please don't do this, there can be a better way of sorting this out" I speak but I know there isn't any way to undo the damage

"My son will never have sex with a woman, before marriage!" Judith ridicules

(Judith)

"Judith trust me, I am carrying Alfred's child" I plead, hoping she will calm down and talk to me at-least a little kindly

"I know women like you, you whore" She says with hatred in her eyes, "You secure thrones by having sex with men in power, because you know that you can never have that much power!!" 

Judith clenches her jaw as I clench my fist 

"Now, get out of my way you bloodsucking vamp" She says as she pushes me aside and I fall on the ground

"JESUS SHE IS PREGNANT!" Jezebel screams

"For all I care she and her child can die" Judith says as she tries to open the chamber door

"THAT'S ENOUGH" I say as I get back up in immense pain

I wrap Ella's rein around Judith's neck and drag her backwards

She chokes and she fights back

"Jezebel hold her legs!" I say

Jezebel freezes

"JEZEBEL HOLD HER GODDAMN LEGS" I scream as Judith fights back as hard as she can

"AS YOUR QUEEN I ORDER YOU TO DO AS I SAY" I howl and Jezebel snaps back to reality

She holds Judith's legs as I choke her neck with the horse reins

Judith fights...

Fights....

And then becomes still as her eyes freeze and her mouth falls open.

"She's dead" Jezebel exclaims

"I know" I say as I stand up and wipe the sweat of my forehead

"I don't believe this" Jezebel says while being lost

"Just hide her body, till I figure out a way to cover it all up" I say as I wash my hands, "Maybe later we can sneak her body through the passageways" 

Jezebel doesn't even blink

"I need to speak with Alfred" I say as I look around the room with anxiety taking over my body

"Alfred" I say as I sigh and look at dead Judith...

"Oh sweet Judith" I say....
