Chapter 9

Jai's house was really nice, it was all modern and stuff. They had a backyard that I recognised they make a lot of their videos in.

I stood there staring at the backyard trying to think of all the videos that were filmed here, I know I said that I only watched a couple, I meant that I only watched a couple out of my own free will, me friends made me watch the rest of them in our girl nights.

"BOO!!" Beau comes up behind me and scares me. "AAHH BEAU IM GONNA GET YOU FOR THAT!!!!!" I yelled and ran after him through the house and onto the streets. Beau was a fast runner, I'll give him that. By the time I was able to catch up to him, I was out of breath.

"Got you!" I say while grabbing his shirt. "humph!" he pouts playfully.

Suddenly I can see him leaning in, his eyes closing, and he kisses my lips.

The worst part is... I kiss back.

Suddenly, I realised what I was doing, and I abruptly pulled back.

"Beau...." I start saying.

"No it's fine, I understand." he says sadly. and he starts walking back to the house.

Something about that kiss just felt wrong, there were no sparks for me, I felt almost nothing, that word, almost, bothers me.

The thing is, I don't think it's Beau I'm waiting to get a kiss from, don't get me wrong, Beau is attractive and funny and kind and a good guy in general, and any girl would be lucky to have him, but I don't think that girl is me, I think that who I'm really waiting on.... is Jai.
