Chapter 15

Maria's POV

The next day all of us, including Shyler, were treating Jai like a king. Breakfast in bed, doing everything he asks, all of those gooey "I'm so grateful" words, which honestly, he deserves.

"Guys you have to stop treating me like this! It's really not a big deal!"

"Aww! Jai stop being so modest! You're a hero!" Shyler said jokingly, but I could tell she meant it.

Jai groaned and rolled his eyes, but I could the edges of his mouth twitching, about to curl into a smile. Jai blushed and rolled ove in his bed until he was face down, burrying his face in his pillow. We were forcing Jai to stay in bed, he needed his rest. His injuries weren't that serious, but just in case, we wanted to limit his movement.

"Guys, please just drop it, I'm embarassed enoough as it is." He mumbled into his pillow.

"Embarassed?! Why in the world are you embarassed? My God Jai, you have more guts under those abs than all of us!" Luke said chuckling.

Jai blushed, making him look like an adorable little sloth. "Awww Jaiiiii!" I cooed to him, That just made him turn even more red.

"I'm hungry." He mumbled and got out of bed, rushing to the bathroom in his boxers.

"WE'RE GONNA WAIT FOR YOU DOWNSTAIRS!!!" Beau screamed at the top of his longs, as if Jai wasn't a yard away. I giggled and put my arm around Beau playfully.

He stared at me and I quickly pulled my arm away. "Sorry," I blushed. He chuckled and put his arm around my shoulders as we walked down the stairs too eat.

I'm so confused. There's Jai and there's Beau, and I think I like them both. I mentally groaned at my messed up plot twist in emotions.
