"Shit, shit, shit, I'm gonna be late," Jisung whispered to himself as he ran, dodging pedestrians as he rushed to the university.

As he ran through the streets, his eyes caught on an unfamiliar building. As he drew closer, he realized that it was coffee shop that recently opened called The Grind

Curious, Jisung went to investigate, deciding that he has enough time for coffee. When he walked in, the little bell above the door tinkled, drawing the attention of the barista at the counter.

Minho looked up from his phone. The first customer of the day. A boy walked in wearing skinny jeans and a sweatshirt, his hair mussed up. Minho's eyes glittered. Admittedly, this boy looked like the type Minho fell for--the cute kind of boys--but Minho dismissed the slight increase in his heart rate as he went to go take his order.

He ordered a caramel frappuccino with three extra pumps of caramel. Minho rolled his eyes at the excessive amount of caramel the boy ordered, but wrote down the order without complaint.

"Can I get a name for your order?" Minho ask, smirking at his customer. He decided that a little bit of thoughtless flirting wouldn't hurt. He was probably straight anyways.

"Jisung," he said, glancing at his phone.

Minho nodded and made Jisung's drink, shaking his head slightly as he pumped the extra caramel into the cup. "How does this kid manage to stay skinny?" he whispered to himself.

Instead of calling Jisung's name from the counter, Minho brought the drink to Jisung, who was sitting at one of the tables, staring at his phone.

"Who are you texting? Why don't you give me more attention, Jisungie?" Minho asked teasingly, casually placing the drink on the table and leaning over Jisung, staring into his eyes.

Jisung locked his phone stared back at Minho. "It's none of your business, and sorry, but I'm straight."

Minho's heart sank slighty, but his gaze didn't falter. He stood up straight, sauntering back to the counter. "Too bad. You're missing out, Jisung."

He watched as the boy smoothly stood and left, jogging around the corner and out of sight. Minho sighed, and told the baristas hanging out in the back room to take his spot for about ten minutes. The new coffee shop hasn't gotten many customers so far, so Minho swapped places with one of his coworkers and went out to the back of the shop.

He deftly slid out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. He lit one and put it between his lips, taking a deep breath. Minho exhaled and watched the smoke curl towards the sky. Why did all of the cute boys have to be straight?

Then, his phone buzzed in his pocked. "Channie hyung," Minho said to himself as he opened the message. We're all meeting at Binnie's tonight.

Minho typed out a quick reply and slid his phone back into his pocket. He took another drag of the cigarette and wondered what Jisung was doing.

---

Jisung slid into his seat in the back row, fifteen minutes late to the lecture. Felix, his roomate, whispered, "Where've you been, mate?"

"Coffee," Jisung said, pulling out his computer.

"I want coffee~" Jeongin whined as he reached for the cup.

"Not a chance," Jisung said, quickly grabbing the cup and taking a drink.

"Hyung will buy you a drink, Jeonginie," Hyunjin said when Jeongin pouted.

"Ya, buy me one, too, while you're at it," Seungmin whispered. Hyunjin and Seungmin started bickering until a girl sitting in front of them shushed them.
