Jisung was back at school a few weeks later. Now that he had to juggle work and school, he rarely had free time.
The only times Minho would see Jisung is at the coffee shop, and that wasn't for very long. Minho missed his Jisungie a lot. Like, a lot.
"Channie hyungggggg! Jisung's not answering my texts!" Minho whined one day.
"Maybe that's because you've been nagging him every hour. He's probably tired of you, Minho."
"Impossible." Minho was petting his cats, thinking about a certain someone. "Could he really be that busy?"
"Yeah, you just wouldn't know because you decided to skip out on college," muttered Chan. He had heard these complaints all day. "You know what? We're going out. You need to get off of your ass and do something to distract yourself from Jisung."
Minho whined, not wanting to move. He hid inside his hoodie and wouldn't get up.
"Minho! You're going to get out of this house whether you like it or not," Chan said sternly. "Come on. I'll get you food!"
With that, Minho leapt up and changed. He had been tired of eating the instant ramen he made at home for the past couple of days. When Chan mentioned free food, Minho jumped at the offer.
"Fine, what are we gonna do hyung?" Minho asked once he was in the car.
"First, we'll get lunch. After that...let's go to karaoke. Then, we have to buy snacks for Jeongin and his friends and pick them up after school," Chan listed.
"I'll let Jeongin and his friends study at my place after school!" Minho shouted as soon as he heard the last item on Chan's to-do list.
"Great. That takes a big load off of my shoulders. But, Jisung might not be there, you know that, right?" warned Chan.
Minho nodded firmly. "I'm willing to take the risk."
"That's quite a large risk you're taking, but whatever floats your boat, Minho."
---
An intense karaoke session later, Chan and Minho pulled up in front of Jeongin's school. Minho was practically bouncing in his seat.
"Chill," Chan scolded. "Don't get your hopes up. He might not even be there."
Minho couldn't tame his excitement. He might be able to catch even a glimpse of the person he wanted to see so badly.
The doors of the university swung open, and streams of students flooded out. Minho strained his neck trying to look for a particular brown haired boy.
He spotted Jeongin's cherry red hair instead. He was accompanied by two other boys. Minho deflated, not seeing Jisung with them.
"Minho hyung!!!" Jeongin smiled, his eyes turning into crescents. "I haven't seen you in forever!"
"Hi Jeongin," Minho greeted warmly. Then, he asked the question he was dying to know the answer of. "Is Jisung with you?"
Jeongin and his friends piled into the car. He responded, "Ah, no. He had to head straight to the office. He's been working so hard!" His eyes brightened, and he asked, "Hyung, do you remember them?" Jeongin was talking about the other two boys, who where sitting quietly, unsure of what to do.
"Oh, uh, yeah. What were your guys' name again? Seungho and Hanjin?" Minho lied. Were these to boys that Jeongin brought over to study before? He could only focus on Jisung, so he couldn't remember who these people were.
